• Brooklyn Beckham created quite the chaos with his six-page Instagram Stories statement calling out his parents on Monday evening. And in the aftermath, a lot more has reared its head – from celebrity comments to David Beckham speaking out.
• In the early hours, after Rhodri Giggs had praised Brooklyn for his comments, Rebecca Loos had her say. No stranger to controversial moments with the family following previous affair allegations, Rebecca explained she is “so happy” to see Brooklyn standing up for himself. “The truth always comes out,” she said.
• Dad David broke his cover on Tuesday as he appeared at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He was later confronted about his son’s comments and said: “I have always spoken about social media and the power of social media . . . For the good and for the bad. What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous. But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons. I’ve been able to use my platform for my following, for UNICEF.” He added that he has tried to educate his kids, who have been “allowed to make mistakes”.
• Even Downing Street got involved. In a joke statement when asked about Brooklyn’s post, the Prime Minister’s spokesman said: “PM has been addressing a number of different issues at the moment but he has always been clear diplomacy is important.”
• Cruz seems to be firmly on the side of his parents. The youngest son of the couple has previously posted in their defence. But as he broke his social media silence, he seemingly avoided the situation. He simply revealed he was in the recording studio ahead of his upcoming gigs.
• Brooklyn is said to hold all the cards following his statement after calling out his mum, Victoria, for humiliating him. It’s claimed that only Brooklyn has access to the dance that Brooklyn spoke about in his scathing statement. However, a source believes he won’t make the footage public.
