Pervis Estupinan, a Brighton defender, is close to joining Milan AC in Italy.
The Serie A side has been attempting to sign the Ecuador full-back for the majority of the summer, but they have already had one offer rejected.
However, it is about to be reached that would allow Estupinan to re-join the team that was once Europe’s champion.
The 27-year-old’s current contract expires in 2027, so Brighton were hoping to secure around £17 million for him.
Estupinan joined Watford in 2016 and joined England, but he has never played senior football.
Instead, he joined Villarreal in La Liga and made his name the 2021 Europa League final victory over Manchester United.
