In Konduga Town, Borno State, a bomb explosion thought to have been detonated by a female suicide bomber has claimed the lives of several people.  ,
On Friday night at 9:30 p.m., the explosion took place at Tashan Kifi, a gateway to Konduga Town’s fish market.
Over 20 people were killed in the explosion, according to reports from sources, and over 30 were hurt by the suicide female suicide bomber.

Only 10 people have died in the suicide attack, according to the Borno police command’s spokesperson, ASP Daso Kenneth, who confirmed the attack.
A female suicide bomber carrying Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) reportedly called a distress call yesterday evening at around 10 p.m. and detonated her explosives in a crowd at a nearby food market, killing 10 people and injuring several others.
The victims were allowed to remain in the area while the injured were taken to Maiduguri hospitals for treatment.
