EXCLUSIVE: A body language expert has predicted that Alan Carr ‘won’t last a week’ on The Traitors due to being a ‘leaky liar’, as ‘every facial twitch is broadcasting his guilt’
Following the release of the first two episodes of the celebrity version of The Traitors, a body language expert has predicted that comedian Alan Carr ‘won’t last a week’ due to his lack of lying skills.
Last week, viewers saw Alan become a traitor alongside Cat Burns and Jonathan Ross and Alan committed the first murder by brushing some hair from Paloma Faith’s cheek during a chat in the kitchen. But after the killing, he admitted: “I feel awful. I didn’t know what else to do! I’ve gone and murdered one of my best friends.”
Former Chatty Man host Alan told the cameras that carrying out the murder had challenged him: “It was a stretch for my acting ability – I don’t know how Meryl Streep does it.” Body language expert Chris Pardoe has since given his opinions to Online-Casinos.com , and said: “Alan is what we call a ‘leaky liar’”.

He added: “Every pore, every gesture, every facial twitch is broadcasting his guilt. If body language were a fire alarm, Alan would be a five-alarm blaze.”
During the episode, Alan also winked at Jonathan and later admitted he has “a sweating problem”, to which the body language labelled the comedian a ‘sweating, winking disaster’. “Right now, he’s hiding in plain sight. But there’s a tipping point where ‘quirky behaviour’ becomes ‘suspicious behaviour.’ We’re talking days, not weeks,” Chris said,
When Alan spoke of his guilt to fellow Traitors Jonathan and Cat, he was told to “toughen up” after claiming that killing her off “broke my heart”.
Jonathan insisted: “You’re not a bad person – you’re a good Traitor. I don’t want to hear any more of this broken heart nonsense. We’ve got to start enjoying this.”
Shortly after it all played out, pop star Paloma, 44, sat down with Ed Gamble on spin-off show Uncloaked and was horrified to discover who the traitors were – and after watching the episode back, quickly dismissed Alan’s theory that he was left with no choice.
Paloma said: “I still maintain this day that if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn’t have done that, so I don’t think he should have done it to me and I’m surprised that he did.
“He had a choice, and it was not very nice. But he is extremely loveable and I’ve spoken to him since, and I do find forgiveness quite an easy thing, just as a person. So, I love him.”
Following Paloma’s murder, the rest of the group took to the roundtable to share their theories on who the Traitors could be, but fans have had to wait almost a whole week to find out who will be banished. The banishing will take place in tonights episode.
