Many audience members were left in stitches after spotting the vehicle that Bob Dylan and his band used to transport them to New York.
Audience members are currently in stitches after Bob Dylan’s band performs an odd number at a recent performance. The seasoned performer is continuing his American tour of the Outlaw Music Festival, and some New Yorkers were offended by his most recent appearance. The Duluth-born songwriter spent his early years in New York before making a comeback performance yesterday (August 1)
In a thread posted to X, where fans were enthralled by the unusual mode of transportation, it was debated whether it was Dylan or long-time bandmate and bass guitarist Tony Garnier, who is scheduled to play in the UK later this year. BOB IN A BOAT is the title of the original post on X.
A man was seen boarding the vessel, which was zoomed in and headed straight for the stage, in a video that was shared on the social media platform.
It seems that taking a change from the typical tour bus was necessary for Dylan to perform in Wantagh, New York, which was held close to the coast.
Instead, a boat brought the performers to the stage, and witnesses say they saw Dylan, or one of his bandmates, while he was entering. Fans adored the video, which one of the actors wrote, “Bob is in a boat, what joy.” “Thank you.”
One more than one said, “Yes, I saw that!” Yes, he was on the stage at Jones Beach with Tony. Great show “” “Oh my God, I hope he’s having fun,” a third person said.
Others questioned whether Tony Garnier, Dylan’s long-time collaborator, was heading to the stage. Could be Tony, a fan wrote.
Another stated that “Tony Garnier is undoubtedly the guy in the hat, and bob is wearing a white hoodie,” and that “I saw another video of them leaving the boat.”
The veteran songwriter performed a few covers and hits from his discography, and the audience was praised for the performance.
One attendee took to the r/BobDylan Reddit page and confirmed he and another audience member took turns with a pair of binoculars so they could see the stage.
My microscopic view of Dylan at Jones Beach, they wrote. I appreciate the person who is seated next to me for allowing me to see him with binoculars.
What a night . I was floored by both how ethereal his presence is and how amazing he sounds live. Willie Nelson, Wilco, and Lucinda all had a great time, and we won’t soon forget this day.
