B&M confirms all UK stores to close, and when they’ll reopen

B&B is a bargain-selling company. M has confirmed that all of its UK locations will close later in the year. The British variety store and garden center chain is well-known for its extensive selection and frequent deals, with over 700 locations in the UK.

B&M said on Monday, September 8, that it will close its stores on Christmas Day, December 25, but that they’ll soon reopen after this. A B&M spokesperson told the Mirror stores will then open again as usual on Boxing Day, December 26.

While B&&; Boxing Day is in session Although most stores were open 8am to 6pm in 2024, the same applies on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Customers are advised to get in touch with their neighborhood stores directly to get specific opening times.

The news comes after fellow retailer Home Bargains confirmed last week that its stores would shut for three days over the festive season. Home Bargains stores will close at 5pm on Christmas Eve and reopen on December 27 – giving staff both Christmas Day and Boxing Day off.

On January 1st, New Year’s Day, stores will also close. Our colleagues put in incredibly long hours each year, according to a Home Bargains spokesperson, and we want to honor that commitment.
