The presenting duo were photographed leaving the show looking worn-out but happy after a celebration with the cast, crew, and judges. This marked the end of a beloved BBC series.
After a heartfelt performance, Tess was spotted smiling sneezily from a back seat of a car, clearly worn out. While Clovisa closed her eyes in several snaps, she appeared to be barely able to keep her eyes open.
Vernon Kay, Tess’ husband, and their daughter Phoebe, who were also seen leaving the party, were also seen driving alongside Strictly 2025 cast members. After watching Tess host her final ever episode, Vernon looked proud of himself.
As they left, professional dancers were also in high spirits. While head judge Shirley Ballas flashed peace signs, Vito Coppola and Nadiya Bychkova waved ferociously to the photographers and Anton Du Beke was spotted soberly taking on driving duties.
During the live final, earlier in the day, the emotional tone of the night had already been set. After receiving an unanticipated tribute from Anton, who emailed her directly while giving feedback on Karen Carney and Carlos Gu’s routine, Tess was reduced to tears.
He continued, “I have to say this as well; I can’t tell you how loved I have been to you for the past 21 years.” You are my love.
As the audience applauded, Karen and Carlos intervened to comfort Tess completely off guard. As they attempted to keep it together, Shirley Ballas clinging to Anton while Motsi Mabuse wiping away tears.
