Henry Southan, a finalist in Big Brother, has updated fans following the announcement earlier this week that he has split from Jordan Sangha, a former co-star.
Henry Southan has shared an update over the news that he has separated from Jordan Sangha. It was announced this week that the Big Brother finalists had split up, more than a year on from the pair having met on the reality TV show.
On the first season of ITV’s revival of the show, which premiered in October 2023, the former couple lived together. Jordan, now 27, and Henry, now 26, both finished third in the Big Brother house after six weeks of being together.
Following their split, they have kept fans informed about their romance and earlier this week it was revealed that they have separated after more than a year. Following the news, Henry then left a message to the audience on Tuesday night.
In a channel on his Instagram page that evening, Henry wrote to fans: “Hello, I just wanted to say a genuine thank you for all the kind, thoughtful messages today. I’m trying not to look at too much online as it makes me anxious.”
He continued, “Truthfully, I’m heartbroken,” in the post. It’s heartbreaking to see my first relationship come to an end. Although today has been one of my life’s most difficult days, I’m optimistic that things will get better over time.
I’ll just say that I loved deeply, stayed true to myself, gave it everything I could, and I’m hurting a lot right now, Henry said in the message. “I know there’s always going to be chatter when something like this happens. I’m again grateful for your kindness. More than you are aware of, you know.
He later confirmed in a statement that he had split from Jordan. According to Henry’s statement from the time, “Jordan and I have decided to separate ourselves.” We are both hurting a lot, and it’s incredibly sad, but we know it’s the right move. Thank you so much for showing us the love and support you have. Please allow some time for us to think informally as we go over the details.
Jordan and Jordan’s separation was also made public on the platform by sharing a post with the tagline “Unfortunate announcement.” In his statement, he stated, “Henry and I have parted ways after many years, memories, and precious experiences. Thank you to everyone who has backed us. We’ll always be close friends. x hugs.
Like his ex, Jordan has since shared an update with fans. He uploaded a video on TikTok on Wednesday in which he was seen getting ready for the day. He said in it: “Spend the day with me. Well, today. I hate to wallow in in self pity but I suppose I must be honest rather than use humour.”
He continued, “I just wanted to thank everyone for all the messages and comments. It’s a time of grieving, and to be honest, it’s awful, because I’m usually not. However, I can’t really get anything done right now other than let my emotions manifest.”
Jordan wrapped up by explaining his intentions before going over his plans. He asked, “If you’re so bloody depressed, why are you making a social media video?” I suppose that’s what I do first, and then I write.
Second, I apologize if it sounds self-indulgent, but I am aware that some people worry because I just thought I’d show myself. I’ll be back on top soon and intend to visit my mother. And, yes, we’ll get back from this.
