After the former US president claimed he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, Joe Biden thanked Americans for their “love and support.”
The 82-year-old Democrat’s diagnosis of “aggressive” prostate cancer, which had spread to his bones, sparked a wave of warm wishes from current presidents Kamala Harris, vice president Kamala Harris, and regular people across the country.
“Cancer touches us all,” he said. The former president’s son Beau Biden passed away from cancer in 2015, and Jill and I have learned from him and his wife.
He thanked you for loving and supporting us.

According to a statement from his office, Biden was given the disease on Friday after showing urinary symptoms and discovering a prostate nodule.
“The cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which makes for effective management, despite being more aggressive than the disease,” said Dr. McKnight. The President and his family are talking with their doctors about possible treatments, the statement continued.
Trump, who has long criticized Biden for his four years in office and his cognitive abilities, said he was “saddened” by the news.
Trump, 78, posted on Truth Social on Sunday, “We wish Joe and the family all the best and best of all of our hearts,” and “We wish them a quick and successful recovery.”
The most prevalent type of cancer in men is men, according to the American Cancer Society, who reports that one in eight men in the United States are diagnosed with it over the course of their lives.
Although early detection can be highly treatable, the organization claims that it is the second-leading cause of male cancer deaths.
Hormone therapy, a common treatment, can shrink tumors and halt the growth of cancer, but it is not a cure.
