Beyonce, the daughter of Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams performed on stage for an epic finale to her Cowboy Carter world tour.
Beyoncé celebrated the end of her record-breaking Cowboy Carter tour with a very special reunion with her Destiny’s Child bandmates. She brought the curtain down on the tour in spectacular fashion as the band reunited for a series of hits.
The pop superstar performed her final show at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium and was joined by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. They performed their mega hits Bootylicious and Lose My Breath.
Additionally, Destiny’s Child performed Beyoncé’s Renaissance track Energy and the popular “mute” challenge. The trio last performed together at Beyoncé’s Coachella show in 2018, when Kelly and Michelle made a comeback.
They split in 2005, but the new reunion created a stir among their fans, who proclaimed it the “perfect conclusion” to the tour. “THE HUGGING AND HOLDING HANDS AT THE END” was a question posed by one fan. I’M Getting Close to My Knees.
Another added: “The Cowboy Carter era changed my life, just like renaissance did, and I cannot imagine where act 3 will take us. Oh Beyonce the once in a lifetime artist you are.”
The loudest microphone drop ever by Beyoncé closed Cowboy Carter with the ominous comment that another commentator made: “Oh when Destiny’s Child reunites, it’s not nostalgia – it’s divine timing.”
Fourth person wrote, “Y’all will never comprehend how iconic this is given that they are one of the most successful girl groups of all time.” Another said, “The perfect ending to Cowboy Carter would be Kelly and Michelle’s side.”
The tour wasn’t always smooth sailing for Beyoncé, however, as she had her unreleased music stolen during a stop. According to a police report, the music was taken from a car in Atlanta.
Plans and concert set lists were also reportedly taken from the Jeep Wagoneer. Despite the news, Beyoncé, who has won 35 Grammys since 2001, stoically kept impressing her fans.
Police said two MacBook laptops, Apple headphones, luxury clothing and accessories, and “sensitive material” belonging to the star were among the items that were taken.
Earlier in the tour, Beyoncé almost fell out of a car, which was propelled into the air at a concert in her home city. While performing in Houston during her flying car stint, the cables appeared to be uneven and left Beyoncé tilting over the edge until she was brought back down.
In videos taken by fans, the singer kept it professional and was cool, calm and collected while the incident was resolved. The star since addressed the situation with humour on Instagram.
She shared a video montage of her show with the caption “Sittin’ Sidewayz,” along with a video of her car’s malfunction. Queen Bey has visited a number of sizable stadiums throughout Europe and the US as part of the tour, which started in late April.
