During her Cowboy Carter tour, Beyoncé and her mother Tina and daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi shared a sweet family photo.
Beyoncé invited her mum Tina on stage, alongside her daughters, as they shared a sweet family moment during her Cowboy Carter tour in America. The 43-year-old was performing in Los Angeles on May 1 when she decided to pay a heartfelt tribute to her ‘mama’.
The Texas Hold ‘Em singer made a special announcement by stating, “Today is a big day because my mother worked so hard on her book, and she has the No. one of the New York Times’ bestseller lists. She then yelled “Congrats, Mama T!” while urging fans to congratulate her 71-year-old mother, who has just released her memoir Matriarch.
As Beyoncé gave her mother a hug, her daughters Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi, 7, both proudly clapped along with the cheering audience. And during her most recent tour, her daughters have also performed for her.
Blue and her famous mother danced to her song America Has a Problem while wearing a newspaper print jumpsuit. Beyoncé performed her hit Deja Vu, and the teenager even performed her own dance routine. While her younger sister Rumi also performed the song Protector, which Beyoncé’s adoring mother dedicated to her on the dance floor.

But there didn’t appear to be any sign of Beyoncé’s seven-year-old son Sir – who is Rumi’s twin and the third child she shares with rapper husband Jay-Z. Her little boy seems to prefer to stay out of the spotlight for now, but her daughters look happy to shine and could follow in their famous mum’s footsteps by having dance or music careers if their latest performances are anything to go by.
According to some, Sir is kept in the wing as a result of his disinterest in his parents’ performances as megastars. Grandma Tina lifted the veil on the twins’ distinct personalities in 2019 by stating that “the boy [Sir] is kind of laid-back and chills like the father,” while the girl [Rumi] is really going to rule the world. She continued, “Blue Ivy is the Queen B. The second Queen B.
According to Sir, he prefers to be quieter and is more interested in “all of the numbers stuff” so he doesn’t really care about fashion as much. Sir’s grandad, Mathew, said of the youngster in 2020: “Sir, he just wants his world to himself.” He claimed that Rumi, his twin sister, is more in tune with Solange, Beyoncé’s sister, who performs similarly to Rumi but prefers to maintain a low profile.
Although Beyoncé, who is thought to be worth around $600 million, recently completed a huge Renaissance World Tour, it seems like she is struggling to sell tickets this time around, and fans have reported seeing empty seats covered with blankets in some stadiums during her performances.
Her 32-city tour of the US and Europe, which includes stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New Jersey, Paris, Houston, Atlanta, Washington, and Las Vegas, is scheduled for her latest album, Cowboy Carter. In June, she will play six dates at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, which is surprising given the city where she has played the most dates.
The news it hasn’t been a sell out came as a shock, since her previous Renaissance World Tour brought in £388,560 million, making it the highest-grossing tour by a Black artist ever – with tickets selling out within minutes of going on sale.
Beyoncé made the tour announcement in February 2025. Fans, however, expressed their anger and annoyance right away because some tickets cost in the thousands. Beyoncé herself was the target of this, according to one social media post.
They claimed that Beyoncé’s cultural relevance is attributed to the fact that the tickets cost a gazillion dollars, which is “so funny” because people act like the Cowboy Carter Tour is not being sold out. Another expressed regret, “We need to talk about Beyoncé charging her fans over $1k (face value, by the way]) for pit tickets.” And it’s a regular ticket, with no perks, no merchandise, or early entry like that? One Thousand Dollars [Face Value]”
