Ben Stiller is a well-known actor known for his roles in Zoolander, Night at the Museum, and Meet the Parents.

However, the 59-year-old star, from New York, US, has been discussing one of his lesser-known titles this week – Disney film ‘ Heavyweights’.

One fan dubbed it “the most underappreciated Disney movie of all time” as they celebrated the title’s 30th anniversary on X, despite the fact that some movie fans may not have heard of it.

Ben Stiller himself retweeted the post because he had his opinion on the subject. After being thanked by the fan for working on the movie, Ben replied: “Somehow I don’t think this will be at the head of the Disney+ queue ever. I’m not sure if they knew they had succeeded. However, thirty years ago, North Carolina had a very enjoyable summer.

A fat camp for kids is taken over by a fitness entrepreneur as its campers work together to overthrow him in this 1995 family comedy, which was directed by Steven Brill and was written by Brill and Judd Apatow.

Despite initially receiving mixed reviews, the movie gained a cult following thanks to cable TV and home video shows.

People were loving Ben’s take on the movie, as his post racked up more than 8.9million views. One person exclaimed: “Camp Hope forever”! While another called it “top tier comedy,” it was. A third chimed in: “Dude, your highlight reel from this movie will never not be Oscar-worthy”.

Ben is currently in the spotlight as the second series of hit Apple TV+ show Severance, which he directs, began airing last month. The American science fiction psychological thriller series, starring Adam Scott, has received acclaim for its cinematography, direction, production design, musical score, story, and performances and received numerous Emmy nominations.

Mark, Scott’s character, is a group of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided between their professional and personal lives. When a mysterious coworker appears unchecked outside of the office, they discover the truth about their jobs.
