After revealing that she was in the hospital as a result of her ongoing battle with the chronic illness, which she was first diagnosed with ten years ago, Bella Hadid gave a health update to her online fans.
Bella Hadid has taken to Instagram to share a health update with fans after being taken to the hospital amid her battle with chronic illness, Lyme disease.
The model captioned the photo, which shows her in the hospital on Wednesday (17 September), “I’m sorry, I always go MIA.” I adore you all. Her recent photos show her life, and several of them show the 28-year-old using breathing apparatus and other hospital equipment.
Bella was given the excuse for her hospital stay, but she was given Lyme disease more than ten years ago. If left untreated, Lyme disease can become a chronic illness that can be passed on to humans by ticks. Chronic fatigue and other symptoms have been compared to fibromyalgia symptoms.
Yolanda Hadid, her mother, commented on the post, which suggested the chronic illness was to blame for the hospital stay. The former Dutch model wrote “Lyme warrior.” Yolanda also shared a number of images of her daughter being treated on her own social media account.
She wrote a heartfelt tribute to her daughter’s courageous battle with lyme disease in the caption. As she addressed the audience, she said, “It has deeply cut the deepest core of hopelessness inside of me. It is difficult for anyone to explain or comprehend chronic neurological Lyme disease’s invisible disability.
On our Lyme journey, I try to lead by example, but I can’t compare to watching my baby suffer. I stopped sharing my personal story after a long time because I needed a shift in my energy to concentrate on my recovery rather than rehashing other people’s experiences.
“Even so, I am the head of my health, and I’m still determined to find a cure that is accessible to everyone after looking for a cure for fifteen years. When lab results reveal our victory, I’m hoping to share what we’ve learned and where we’ve been with you and the Lyme community soon.
You are unyielding and courageous, Bellita, to my beautiful. No child should have an incurable chronic disease in their body. Despite failing protocols and facing numerous setbacks, I admire your bravery and willingness to fight for health.
“You’ve been diagnosed in 2013 and have endured the darkness, pain, and unknown hell,” you said. “There are simplyn’t words big enough for the words.” You actually didn’t live; you only learned how to survive in your own paralyzed brain. You are a fighter, and I’m so proud of you. No matter how long this takes, I promise to follow you everywhere.
Bella was being treated to help manage her condition, as her caption continued to confirm. Yolanda continued, “You have endured another month of treatment, and I know that miracles happen every day. My love, I pleading for your quick recovery. Although we have been in agony, we always recover. Together, we will fight for better days.
Along with her mother and brother Anwar, Bella was diagnosed with lyme disease in 2013. Bella has previously thanked her mother for supporting her during her medical procedures and “believing” in her suffering. She wrote in her 2023 memoir, “Thankful to my mommy for keeping all of my medical records, sticking by me, never leaving my side, protecting, supporting, but most of all, believing me through all of this.”
