Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly sent a legal notice to his parents David and Victoria Beckham. The family feud has been erupting for some time, but in a shocking turn of events, it has been claimed that Brooklyn has sent a ‘desist’ letter to his family.
The feud between Brooklyn and his parents seemed to pass a point of no return when it was claimed by Brooklyn’s younger brother that David and Victoria had been blocked by Brooklyn. Sources claimed David and Victoria had unfollowed their son, but it was later revealed that Brooklyn had blocked them and other family members, according to his younger sibling.
It has now been claimed that Brooklyn had sent a letter in the summer when he asked correspondence between them to come through his lawyers. It has also been alleged that Brooklyn “wanted to try and make amends privately not publicly”.

A source told The Sun: “Truly, people do not know the full facts of this heart-breaking tale, and think Brooklyn was just being truculent when he blocked his parents. The reality is that he issued them with a letter at the end of last summer, asking for any correspondence to go via lawyers only, and wanted to try and make amends privately not publicly.
“He felt his parents continued to ignore his wishes and kept mentioning him online instead of reaching out privately. For their part, David and Victoria have simply tried to let their beloved eldest son know the door is always open, and that they still care.”
The source went on to say that the Beckhams were “utterly bemused and devastated” by what had happened, with the chance of a reconciliation seeming further away than ever.
Friends had claimed that the Beckhams invited Brooklyn to be with them as he collected his knighthood in November. An olive branch was also said to be extended to Nicola, with her being invited for the evening dinner.
However, it has been reported that Brooklyn and Nicola declined. Whilst contact has seemed to completely fold between their eldest son, it is believed Brooklyn is still speaking with his grandparents on both sides.
“Brooklyn absolutely adores them, and knows how much pain this is causing everyone. So he has reached out in his own time, but tried to keep it low-key so as not to drag them into it,” the source said.
Brooklyn’s fallout with his parents seemed to have escalated around the former footballer’s 50th birthday. Things have since played out in the media, with sources claiming Brooklyn tried to arrange coffee with his parents when he was in the UK.
Separate sources claimed the fall out began years ago over Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding. The pair later addressed the feud, with Nicola saying: “I was going to [wear a Victoria Beckham wedding dress] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress. She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”
Brooklyn added: “I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that. They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good.”
