After “reports of a small fire,” South Australia Police reported to The Mirror that at 3.25pm on Thursday, June, emergency services were called to the property.

A man was discovered dead inside the premises when police entered the property, according to the statement. A 34-year-old woman from Port Lincoln has been detained and charged with the murder of the man.

She was given no bail, and she may show up in Adelaide Magistrates Court today, according to the statement. Last night, officers from the Major Crime Investigation Branch and the Forensic Response Section rushed to the scene to assist the local police with the investigation.

It added: “Police believe both the man and woman are known to each other and there are no community safety concerns. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au or call 1800 333 000. You can remain anonymous.”

One neighbor described the woman’s death and subsequent arrest as “really nice, very pleasant, and polite” after hearing the news.

South Australian Police’s Ian Parrott: “I can assure members of the community that this is not a random incident. He continued, “We know that both the arrested woman and the deceased man resided at this address.”

The pair reportedly recently moved in together. The forensic response members and the Major Crime investigators are likely to be present most of today, according to the officer of South Australia Police.

The cause of death is still a mystery. Further information about the investigation couldn’t be made available because the victim’s family had not been informed when we spoke to the local media.

According to reports, the suspect has not requested bail but has been detained under the Mental Health Act. The suspect is reportedly present at a court hearing in December.

The identity of the woman, the victim, and details about his death are now subject to a suppression order, which will prevent the victim from being revealed.

The order is reportedly set to be under review by the court next week. The Mirror has contacted Beauty And The Geek for a comment.
