Twelve content creators are competing in Last Pundit Standing to become a BBC Sport contributor, so the BBC has begun a search for a new football expert.
The BBC Three and iPlayer will host the TV show.
Former Watford captain Troy Deeney and YouTuber James Lawrence Allcott will host Last Pundit Standing.
As the creators are faced with by some of the biggest names in the game, potential pundits will be whittled down through a series of tasks performed at world-class football stadiums.
Toby Addison, Ally Tomlinson, Cathal Traquair, Fuad Abdul Aziz, Rukiah Ally, Jess Watkins, Khwaja Raees Mahmood, Reggie Yembra, Nancy Baker, Nahyan Chowdhury, Lia Lewis, and Oscar Browning are the candidates.
Deeney stated, “I’m absolutely pumped to co-host Last Pundit Standing. The energy that surrounds this exciting new show is truly unique.
We’re bringing together some incredible creators in extraordinary settings and with some extraordinarily special guests. I’m eager to get started on the series and have fun.
A talent search program is run by BBC Creator Lab in collaboration with BBC Sport for social and digital creators who want to pursue a career in television.
