Seann Walsh, the former Strictly Come Dancing star, recalls a terrifying incident where a stranger leapt into the passenger seat of his car in London.
Strictly Come Dancing alumni Seann Walsh and Michelle Tsiakkas have both spoken out about separate frightening incidents they recently experienced in London.
Comedian Seann Walsh, who appeared on Strictly in 2018, described a disturbing moment when a stranger attempted to get into his car while he was stopped at a red light.
Sharing the experience on Instagram, he wrote: “New in the adventures of living in London: today whilst waiting at the lights in my car, a guy walked up to my car, opened the passenger side door and went to get in.” It comes after Seann, 39, had his phone stolen in london before it travelled across the globe.

Seann remarked about the most recent terrifying ordeal, “Thankfully, the traffic lights had changed and I could leave.” I’m starting to feel like I’m a part of Grand Theft Auto.
Just after Walsh was mugged, something happened. He at the time posted a screenshot of his phone’s new location along with the statement, “My phone was stolen (yes, I live in London) a week ago and it is now in China.”
Michelle Tsiakkas, a professional dancer who joined the Strictly cast in 2022, also had a troubling experience of being mugged in the capital.
She stated in a video that was uploaded to Instagram: “Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know something happened to me the other day in London.”
“I’ve almost mentally recovered from that, but this happened a few days ago.” On the day, it was quite traumatizing. I squandered my entire day, felt terrible, afraid, and helpless, and I don’t want this to happen to you.
Tsiakkas explained that she was traveling nearby to see a dentist when the incident occurred.
She continued, “I whipped out my phone to check the directions because it was early in the morning.” A man riding an electric bike approached me from behind, passed me, and grabbed my phone.
My heart just fell. I tried to reach for it, but it grazed my knee and made me fall. I pleaded with him to return my phone, but he just flew away. He was moving too quickly or following, and he was wearing a mask.
Tsiakkas remarked that two nearby women had thanked her for their kindness in the difficult situation.
In addition, Seann and Katya Jones, a professional dancer, teamed up for a Strictly Come Dancing contest in 2018.
After being photographed kissing Katya, who was married at the time, during a night out, the comedian’s time on the show was overshadowed by controversy.
Walsh and Jones apologized in response to the incident, which created a media frenzy. Seann later revealed that Seann’s career and mental health suffered as a result of the fallout.
The pair fought their way through the drama before being eliminated. They stayed in the match for several more weeks.
One of the show’s most talked-about moments continues to be the scandal.
