After Sandra Bullock refused to shake his hand in an interview, BBC One DJ Greg James has made her one of the most awkward celebrities he has ever met.
As one of BBC Radio One’s most sought after DJs, Greg James has probably met the good and the great of Hollywood in his time. But one interview with a Hollywood celebrity left him feeling rather uneasy, which unfortunately has been etched in his memory, as one of the most awkward interviews to date.
While on JaackMaate’s Happy Hour podcast, the radio presenter, 39, revealed that during an interview with Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock, he was left feeling a little weird after she refused to shake his hand during their initial introduction.
And she stated that her child had a medical condition. On the podcast, he stated, “I remember Sandra Bullock refusing to shake my hand.”
He continued, “She said it was a junket interview, and they’re really stressful, aren’t they? ” They are terrible. Yes, it was four minutes. Talk to Meryl Streep, please.
Sandra Bullock was the subject of his comments, adding that “I went to shake her hand, and she said, “I’m not shaking hands today, my kid’s not very well. What”?
She continued, “She believed that if she passed her child’s hand, her hand, and I would become ill with Sandra Bullock’s child’s flu,” he continued.
Although the date of the incident is unknown, his attitude on the podcast made him seem like he was surprised by her decision to avoid bodily contact.
And he acheived his handshake after realizing that she had “been honest” with her justification. He continued, “She might be trying to protect you from the child’s illness and, in my opinion, be being really nice.”
He continued, “Or she might be very bitter. Or. And say, “Someone has made my child ill, so I’m not shaking the hands of strangers once more.”
Fans eluded the comment section for a while to express their views. “Totally accurate,” one person said. She isn’t interested in making you sick. Another user continued, “There are some stories you don’t have to share.”
A third person responded, “I think Greg is being weirdly sensitive about it.” That day, she encounters a ton of people. Her children are ill. She’s either worried that every person she shakes hands with will receive it, or worried that the interviewees will give it something. She doesn’t seem to like you like Greg suggests, so it’s hardly a case of that.
A fourth person added, “What’s an issue with him sharing this story?” after the lengthy thread was in progress. Greg has forged relationships with numerous famous people and recently received an invitation to Taylor Swift’s wedding with Travis Kelce.
He had been honored with an invitation, it was revealed last month during a live broadcast of his show. Greg quickly inquired, “Woah, woah,” after a conversation about her fiance. “Am I coming?”
And Taylor responded, “of course,” in the manner that “obviously”. However, she made sure he would learn more about the date more in-depth than she did by not giving more details.
