In a “bit depressing” update, Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox admitted to having an issue with her husband Ben at night.

A “depressing” marriage update about her husband, Ben Cyzer, has been revealed by Sara Cox. Just one year after her breakup from her first husband, the broadcaster and advertising executive Ben had a romantic relationship.

Ben and Renee have daughters named Isaac and Renee, and the BBC Radio 2 presenter wed them in 2013. She married DJ Jon Carter in a different country, and she has a second child named Lola.

However, Sara, 50, has now revealed a nocturnal battle she faces with Ben, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Speaking on The Teen Commandments podcast, Sara explained that Ben’s snoring often forces her to retreat to a separate bedroom.

She said, “This is my issue with Ben with me, because if I wake up in the night, it’s annoying just to watch him breathe.” I’m not talking about daytime noises; I’m talking about just minor noises.

You’ll be aware of this when a wildlife documentary features a picture of an animal that’s on high alert for a predator. In the middle of the night, I feel like I have the heaving because the noise is so great, it just gets worse.

“I believe there is a little anxiety there. In my 20s, I can recall that if I awoke at like half one, I probably wouldn’t have been in bed at half one, but in my 20s, I would be like, “Oh, I’ve got a lot of time to sleep, amazing.” I go to the age of 50 and say, “F**k, it’s three, I’m not going to sleep, I’m never going to get back to sleep.”

I must use that 20s energy to think, “I have a lot of time to sleep,” so I do.

When asked how she handled her partner’s nighttime awakening, Sara Cox responded, “I nudge him, he’s really patient, he’s great about it, and then we just keep sleeping in separate rooms, which is a little depressing.

Sara recently completed the BBC Children in Need Great Northern Marathon. She ran a remarkable 135 miles from Kielder Forest, Scotland’s border, to Pudsey in Yorkshire, raising more than £10 million along the way.

The programme “Saran Cox: Every Step of the Way for Children in Need,” which will be broadcast on BBC One starting at 8pm tonight (November 19), details her difficult journey. It’s just the hardest thing I’ve ever done, Sara said to the BBC after the challenge was over.

I’ve never experienced pain like it, but the incredible women I’ve run into have just empowered me.

In the driving rain, it was bitterly cold, wet, and filthy, and there were so many people exiting the side of the road.
