Rylan Clark, a presenter for BBC Radio 2, has updated on his personal life and revealed that he has a new love of his life, and it’s not Kennedy Bates, his ex-boyfriend.

A robotic lawn mower, affectionately known as Alan Tech Marsh, has become Rylan Clark’s unexpected new passion of life. The TV host, who lives in a lavish modern home in Essex, was exuberant when he revealed that he felt “fortunate” about finding the gadget that had changed how he handled his garden maintenance.

The 36-year-old frequently talks about the lavish pool house and dedicated Diary Room at the home he renovated after splitting from his ex-husband, Dan Neal.

The $1.2 million residence also has a gym and serves as the location for Celebrity Gogglebox, which he and his mother Linda shoot, creating a special combination of family and work space.

The property, which is set in expansive grounds, has always required regular maintenance, which he had previously entrusted to professional gardeners. The well-known television host claims to have found a new fixation thanks to his advanced tech assistant.

Speaking on his BBC Radio 2 programme, Rylan stated: “Everyone’s always told me, and I’m very lucky that I’ve got nice grass, nice land. So I’ve always had a gardener that comes and makes everything nice.”

Rylan has revealed that he has found a robot lawn mower to manage his enormous lawn. A robot lawn mower that just works for me has been found by a company that makes it for me. He makes an early start each day. It resembles a pet. He is amazing because I didn’t expect a robot to cut all the grass because it was too much, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The former X Factor star and presenter of Radio 2 and Strictly: It Takes Two admitted he became “transfixed” watching the mower at work, even sitting outside in the dark to observe it. “Well, I found it. Guess what I’ve named him? Alan Tech Marsh,” he chuckled.

“I adore Alan,” He is so lovely. He moves in a big remote-control car, as he goes. I’ve established the rules and everything. You ought to have seen me on Monday night. I was there sat there. Even though it was pitch black, Alan was unconcerned. Alan is uninterested. He has lights. He has night vision. I could not stop stumbling over him as he cut that grass.

Rylan also mentioned how completely independent the mower is, which he still finds fascinating. He continued, “There are no controls.” The boundary has been established by me. The schedule has been set up. I’m not required to do anything. He’s probably moving around a little now.

When I ask Rylan how the mower decides to start, he replies, “He starts when I tell him to leave.” He just goes back to his little charging house, charges up, and then goes off again after I scheduled him for four days a week to keep it at the exact height I want.

Supporters were relieved to see Rylan embracing life’s happier moments once more following a challenging period in his personal life, including his marriage’s breakdown.

In September, the BBC personality made things official on Instagram with his partner Kennedy Bates, who runs a funfair business.

In an August episode of his podcast, How To Be In Love, Rylan first made an initial hint about his new romance. Kennedy’s identity was kept secret at the time, but he did acknowledge that he had been secretly seeing someone for some time.
