With a new agreement, BBC Sport will broadcast Premiership Women’s Rugby matches for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons.
One semi-final and the final will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app each week.
Gloucester-Hartpury won their third PWR title in a row after defeating Saracens at StoneX Stadium in May.
The Women’s Rugby World Cup will be held in England in February, with John Mitchell’s team as the favorite to win.
The exclusive rights to broadcast every game of the competition have been granted by BBC Sport.
Every game will be streamed live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app, while selected matches will be shown on the BBC’s linear channels.
Radio commentary on the tournament will also be available on BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 Sports Extra.
The opening game will take place on August 22 at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light, and the final will take place on September 27 at Twickenham’s Stadium of Light.
According to BBC Sport’s head of sport, Alex Kay-Jelski, “This deal is another significant step in the commitment to women’s sport.”
“Premiership Women’s Rugby is fast, tough, and full of elite talent,” according to BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

Ellie Kildunne, who plays at full-back for the Harlequins and England, is one of the sport’s biggest stars who has won the nine-team league.
The league also includes all of Mitchell’s Red Roses, as well as Saracens number eight Sophie de Goede, and social media sensation Ilona Maher, who played for Bristol Bears for a short time last season.
According to PWR executive chair Genevieve Shore, “This is another significant step forward for Premiership Women’s Rugby.”
“We have the intention to provide our incredible athletes with the biggest platform possible in order to showcase the elite rugby talent that exists in this country,” said the BBC.
The story won’t end there, though, as the Rugby World Cup will be later this year.
