Luis Diaz, a Liverpool forward, is expected to receive a better offer from Munich, Bayern.
The Premier League champions earlier this month turned down an initial £58.6 million offer for the Colombia international from the Bundesliga side.
However, Bayern are determined to land Diaz, and sources say the German titleholders are hopeful of reaching an agreement.
The offer, including add-ons, is likely to exceed £60 million.
Due to rumors that Diaz would leave the club after Saturday’s 4-2 pre-season friendly defeat by AC Milan in Hong Kong, he was not included in Liverpool’s squad.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot stated, “There are a lot of rumors around him lately, and I cannot enter into that.”
He’s training very well with us, but we’ve already made a decision to not play him.
This summer, Liverpool have already made deals with Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike.
