Barcelona’s pre-season friendly against Vissel Kobe on Sunday has resumed, with the Catalan giants claiming issues with the match’s promoter have been resolved.
On Thursday, Barca called off the game, which will be played in Tokyo, citing the promoter’s “serious contractual breaches” as the cause of the canceled event.
The Spanish champions flew out to Japan on Friday morning, claiming to have “resolved the issues.”
When Barcelona first announced the tour, Barcelona instead chose Yasuda Group.
Yasuda Group has reached out for comment, according to BBC Sport.
On August 31 and 4, 2018, Hansi Flick’s side will also take on Korean K League 1 clubs FC Seoul and Daegu, respectively.
For the three-game trip, Barcelona has selected Marcus Rashford as their 30-man player.
The Catalan club has the option of signing the 27-year-old English international for a permanent fee of £30.3 million (35 million euros) in 2026 after the club agreed to let him out on an initial 12-month loan from Manchester United on Wednesday.
