Due to the promoter’s “serious contractual breaches,” Barcelona have decided to cancel their pre-season friendly against Vissel Kobe in Tokyo on Sunday.

The first stop on their Asian tour, which they conducted in Japan, was in South Korea, where they claimed the second leg was also in danger of being delayed.

When Barcelona first announced the tour, they instead chose Yasuda Group.

“The club will, if certain requirements are met by the promoter, take into account readjusting the leg of the summer tour in South Korea.

In the upcoming days, the club will travel to South Korea if these conditions are met.

Barcelona regrets this incident and how many Barca fans in Japan will be affected by it.

Yasuda Group has reached out for comment, according to BBC Sport.

Vissel Kobe, the reigning champion of the J1 League, apologized for any issues this might have with the many fans and partners who were anticipating this game.

Our club is collaborating with interested parties to gather the necessary data and take appropriate actions.

On July 31 and 4 August, Barcelona, who won their 28th La Liga title last year, will take on South Korean FC Seoul and Daegu, respectively.
