As the twists and turns continue in the latest series of The Traitors, a banished player suspects that more connections will be unveiled following her exit from the show
A banished traitor says players are adamant that there is a secret father-and-son duo among the contestants. In a series that has already been packed with plot twists, a secret traitor has been unveiled, while two duos have confirmed their relation.
The latest twist on The Traitors came when Ellie Buckley revealed that the most recently banished player, Ross Garshong, is actually her boyfriend. This revelation followed weeks of fan speculation that the pair already knew each other before filming the show.
Internet sleuths had already discovered a picture of Ellie and Ross standing next to each other in a group on Instagram, while others pointed out that Ross had previously reacted to two of her LinkedIn posts, which have since been deleted.
Suspicion also grew around Ross when Netty Österberg became the first to be murdered after the pair had told players they already knew each other.
Speaking to The Metro, Judy Wilson, the first contestant to be voted off the show, said she had no inkling about the pair being together.
“Ellie is quite quiet and if you saw the bit when we’re in the kitchen, that’s the first time I actually spoke to her, but she’s quite quiet, whereas Ross is very out there and quite bubbly, so I didn’t connect that at all,” she revealed.
Instead, Judy said she and fellow players believe there is a secret father-and-son duo.
“I think there could be more secret connections,” she told the publication.
“There was a lot of speculation when I was in there about Faraaz [Noor] and Maz [Bana] – are they son and dad? We kept thinking that.”
Some viewers have also speculated that the two players could be related.
On the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, one wrote: “Is it just me or do Faraaz and Maz have an IDENTICAL side profile?! Father and Son?! #TheTraitors #TheTraitorsUK.”
A second commented: “I think the next family tree is definitely Maz and Faraaz. They give off that hot dad, hot son vibe. And their names both end in ‘az’ #TheTraitors.”
“Just catching up on Traitors! Wowzer. Maz & Faraaz must be related surely? look at their facial features, same shape, nose, cheekbones, even same calm demeanour, everything except the eyes. Throwing my mad theory in! #TraitorsUK #Traitors #Traitors2026,” a third added.
Judy also entered the show in a secret duo with her daughter Roxy, who continues competing as a faithful.
Along with her fellow players, she is on a mission to find the remaining traitors following Hugo Lodge’s banishment.
Last night, Fiona Hughes was unveiled as the secret traitor after a week of working alone and shortlisting who she believed should be murdered.
Along with her fellow traitors, Stephen Libby and Rachel Duffy, she continues her mission of keeping her true identity hidden, in a bid to win the prize fund of up to £120,000.
