Gareth Bale, the legendary Welshman, claims he would have enjoyed playing for the national team’s Craig Bellamy.

Bale, who made 111 appearances for Wales in addition to his 111 career goals, claims that Wales has been revitalized since Bellamy took over in July 2024. He retired from football in 2023.

The former Real Madrid star thinks Wales are “in the mix” to win the 2026 World Cup that will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

As they compete for a spot in the group J, North Macedonia, Belgium, and Wales are currently tied by one point.

“I think what Craig has done has been great,” Craig says in a statement. “The campaign has been good so far.

He has arrived, he has taken over, and he has given the team that passion, which I believe it needed, a new “He’s come in, he’s taken over,” he says. We’re in the right place, in my opinion, and that’s good.

Bale, a five-time champion in the Champions League, anticipates a mouthwatering encounter in Cardiff when they face Belgium in their next qualifier in October.

The fact that we’re still in the mix, we’re right there at the top with the other nations, he said, “is important because we have very good teams in the group as well.” “You can easily be knocked out of a campaign very quickly, and we’re also in the group,” he said.

Despite a sluggish Cardiff bid, Bale is “content.”

Bale might have been a regular at Cardiff City Stadium this season because he was a member of a group that attempted to purchase the Bluebirds if things had changed.

The owners of Cardiff turned down Bale’s claim that he was interested in buying a club in the future because he enjoys being a father and doing TV punditry, but he says he would “love to explore” club ownership in the future.

“I was aware that football wouldn’t last forever.” I enjoy spending time with my family, involving myself in some TV activities and keeping up with football. I’m very busy with my kids, he continued.

It’s wonderful to now have the opportunity to spend time with them rather than spend weekends with them and miss many of their early years; it’s just wonderful to finally be a father. I’m currently content where I am.

Bale does not intend to play football in the future.

I would be interested and would love to learn more about a football club, he continued.
