Need to know

Ronan Keating’s son Jack joined Love Island UK in summer 2022 as a Casa Amor bombshell, however he is back for a second stint in the All Stars villa as an original star this time

All you need to know about Ronan Keating’s son Jack as he appears on Love Island: All Stars

  1. Jack Keating, 26, is the eldest child of Irish singer Ronan Keating and model Yvonne Connolly. He has two younger sisters, Missy and Ali. Ronan later remarried Storm Keating and has two more children, Cooper and Coco.
  2. Jack was raised in Malahide, Dublin and later moved to London. Before reality TV, he worked in social media marketing and, more recently, as a radio host in Dublin.
  3. He’s described as fun-loving, chatty and charismatic, with a bit of Irish charm — traits he leaned on when entering Love Island. Jack joined Love Island UK in summer 2022 as a Casa Amor bombshell — a group of new contestants who arrive midway to shake things up.
  4. Early on in his time in the villa, he revealed he’s Ronan Keating’s son — something many viewers instantly recognised. Jack and co-star Gemma Owen (daughter of footballer Michael Owen) even bonded over having famous dads.
  5. His first stint on the show was very brief — he was dumped within less than a week after not coupling up, meaning he didn’t get a chance to build a major storyline inside the main villa. Jack later said he had “a great couple of days” and no regrets about his time on the show. Ronan was publicly supportive, sharing Instagram posts cheering him on and expressing pride.
  6. In March 2023, Jack announced he had welcomed his first child, a baby daughter, eight months after leaving Love Island. His father Ronan shared the news with fans and called his granddaughter “little cutie.” Jack later confirmed that he and the child’s mother are not together but co-parenting and are focused on giving their daughter a supportive environment. Jack’s daughter Maya has been celebrated publicly by the family, with Ronan sharing heartfelt birthday tributes.
  7. After Love Island, Jack has had relationships, including a romance with midwife Abby Phillips, although reports later indicated they split and removed photos from social media earlier in 2025. Jack is known to be active on dating apps but has spoken about people thinking he’s not serious sometimes — a common post-Reality TV trope.
  8. In January 2026, it was announced that Jack will be returning to the villa for Love Island: All Stars, a special season featuring past contestants with “unfinished business.” Jack revealed his dad’s one rule for his return: no sex on TV — something Ronan apparently emphasised from the start, though Jack joked he might bend that rule if it helps him find love.
  9. His motivation this time in the villa seems more relationship-focused: he’s seeking a partner who’s family-oriented and supportive of his life as a solo dad.
  10. The third season of Love Island: All Stars series will air at 9pm daily on ITV2 and stream on ITVX after broadcast. This season will be extended to around six weeks of episodes — longer than some previous All Stars runs. As well as Jack, the cast includes series 10 winner Jess Harding, last year’s beauty Helena Ford and series 10’s Whitney Adebayo. Male islanders on the show this year include series 11 runner-up Ciaran Davies and last year’s Tommy Bradley.

What lies ahead for Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado?

Prioritising stability

Questions about Machado’s role in Venezuelan politics emerged within hours of the US operation to remove Maduro, a leader accused of violently suppressing dissent.

Machado, 58, had been living in hiding for months after the 2024 election, for fear of facing arrest.

But that changed in December, when she escaped abroad to accept the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts to advance Venezuelan democracy.

Given her longstanding public opposition to Maduro, Machado was widely viewed as a favourite to replace him, should his government ever fall.

But when Trump announced the US military operation to remove Maduro, he quickly quashed the prospect of Machado stepping into Venezuela’s presidency.

“I think it would be very tough for her to be the leader. She doesn’t have the support within or the respect within the country,” Trump said at a news conference hours after the attack.

Rather than work with Machado, Trump announced plans to cooperate with Delcy Rodriguez, Maduro’s vice president. She has since been sworn in as interim president.

“She’s essentially willing to do what we think is necessary to make Venezuela great again,” Trump said of Rodriguez.

Maduro, who has long been accused of human rights violations, has been charged alongside his wife Cilia Flores with being part of a conspiracy to traffic drugs into the US.

While Trump’s decision to topple Maduro has sparked jubilation among Venezuelans in exile, his military intervention — and quick dismissal of Machado — have raised concerns about his respect for Venezuelan sovereignty and international law.

“I think [the Trump administration] basically bet on what they consider to be the most stable transition possible,” said Freddy Guevara Cortez, a former opposition member in Venezuela’s National Assembly.

“They think that they can convince the same members of the Maduro regime to dismantle themselves.”

Guevera Cortez, who has lived in exile in the US since 2021, emphasised that he supports Trump’s actions in Venezuela.

WAFCON 2026: Super Falcons Drawn Against Zambia, Egypt, Malawi

Defending champions, Nigeria, have been drawn against Zambia, Egypt, and Malawi in Group C of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The Super Falcons, record `10 times winners, will play the Group C games at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco.

Nigeria’s match against the Copper Queens will be a reenactment of their quarter-final outing in the 2024 edition of the tournament. The Super Falcons thrashed the Zambians 5-0 in that game.

Morocco, runners-up in the last two editions of the WAFCON, are in Group A against Algeria, Kenya, and Senegal. Games in that lot will be played at the Moulay Al Hassan Stadium in Rabat.

Katie Price takes daughter Princess out for lavish shopping spree despite strict warning

Katie Price and Princess Andre enjoyed a day of shopping in central London, hitting Selfridges, and ending their day laden with so many bags they could hardly carry them – despite Katie’s warning

Katie Price and Princess Andre recently enjoyed a serious shopping spree, despite Katie’s recent warning. Princess, 18, who has been growing her social following in recent years, filmed a day-in-the-life vlog for TikTok of her and her mum as they ventured into London. Katie, 47, has been declared bankrupt twice, but this did not stop her from purchasing her daughter lavish gifts as they explored Selfridges together.

In fact, a judge told Katie recently that she was to cut out “extravagant” spending, otherwise she could “lose half of her income,” according to Metro. But, it seems as though this advice didn’t faze her whatsoever, as the pair returned from their trip laden with bags.

The pair went to Selfridges for a browse, with Katie wearing a pair of chic black leggings, an Adidas puffer jacket, and a Louis Vuitton bag, as Princess, who Katie shares with ex Peter Andre, said that Katie was “in her element” when out shopping.

Princess was sporting a blue tracksuit, with her trademark blonde curly hair trailing down her back, looking like her namesake.

Katie joked that in Selfridges, she was going “to where the teenagers go,” hinting that she doesn’t dress in an ‘age-appropriate’ way.

Princess then tried on a baby blue Adanola puffer jacket, but unfortunately for her, they didn’t have her size, so she was unable to get it.

The pair tried things on in the changing rooms together, dancing around, trying on different accessories, and just enjoying their time together.

“Mum’s getting her packed lunch out,” Princess joked, as Katie unwrapped a meal deal sandwich in the middle of Cartier. “When you’ve gotta eat, you’ve gotta eat,” Katie said, unbothered by her fancy surroundings as she tucked into the butty.

Katie then tried on some heels, which Princess said looked “so good,” as Princess admitted she was going to “have” to get herself a pair of Louis Vuitton trainers because she felt like they would “go with everything” that was already in her wardrobe. Princess said they were “so nice”.

As they walked out of the department store, Princess said: “Guys, this is ridiculous,” as they were laden with so many bags.

“We’re in a taxi now, we’re going to go home,” Princess said, as Katie admitted that she was “absolutely knackered”.

“Oh, tough day,” Princess jibed sarcastically, as Katie said she’d had a “really tough day,” and Princess reiterated three times they were “joking,” just in case it wasn’t obvious to anyone.

Before they made their way home on the train, they stopped off at Starbucks for a drink and picked up some Mini Eggs and an egg sandwich.

Copy Claudia Winkleman’s £325 Traitors look with £32 skirt from River Island sale

During episode 4 of BBC’s The Traitors, Claudia Winkleman wore a skirt by Needle & Thread, which retails over £300, and we’ve found a similar style for under £40

There’s no denying the latest series of BBC’s The Traitors has upped the ante in more ways than one. With the drama building episode on episode between the Traitors and Faithfuls, us viewers can’t get enough of the show’s twists and turns and never-done-before scenes. But one thing remains: host Claudia Winkleman and her enviable show wardrobe (curated by long-time stylist Sinead McKeefry).

During last week’s episode four, us fashion fans were left in awe of her ensemble for the mission that married a whole host of styles, from romantic frills to traditional heritage print to chunky, cosy winter-wear all in one look. While we loved her Harris Tweed Coat from Brora (£745) and Mr Mittens Ribble Beanie (€155), it was her tiered tulle skirt from Needle & Thread that seriously stole the show – sorry Faithfuls.

The exact skirt – we believe it to be the Hattie Ruffle Ankle Skirt – is in the realm as the rest of her outfit in terms of price, and costs £325. However, we’ve discovered a similar style at River Island that’s not only cheaper than Claudia’s number for its RRP, but is also currently on sale.

The Cream Tulle Mesh maxi Skirt usually retails at £59, but for a limited time in River Island’s sale it cost £32 – and all sizes (six to 18) are still in stock. While this design doesn’t have the same subtle polka dot pattern Needle & Thread’s bears, its got a similar multi-tiered swish.

This makes it unbelievably romantic and feminine that is perfect for fancy dinners, events and can even be dressed down – as inspired by Claud herself – with a mix-and-match vibe made up of a knit, oversized coat and chunky boots.

Although it doesn’t have quite so many tiers as the original skirt, River Island’s look is likely to be a little lighter in weight because of this, which is always a welcome detail.

I can see this skirt working well in the summer for festivals too, pairing gorgeously with an oversized graphic or band tee and some platform sandals – like these Gryphon Quad Leather Platform Sandals, £140, from Dr Martens (another favourite brand of the former Strictly Come Dancing presenter’s).

Although Claudia’s skirt is more of a beige-blush hue, the River Island skirt comes in both a cream hue and brown, for those who prefer a darker shade, and looks way more expensive thanks to its ruffles and maxi length.

For those who want more of a pink shade and don’t mind spending a bit more on top quality, All Saints’ Aude Ruffle Maxi Skirt is £199 and has an equally as ethereal vibe – although it’s important to note it’s not lined all the way down to its hem, which means wearers’ legs will be seen through it.

Adding comfort into the mix, it looks like the skirt has an elasticated waistband – which differs from the Needle & Thread skirt, it seems to have a more structured waist – which is the same as River Island’s £32 style.
