Prince Andrew still presents ‘impossible’ problem with no way out as King can’t act

His older brother King Charles III is still dealing with an “impossible” problem that won’t be so simple to resolve as Prince Andrew relinquishes his royal titles and honors amid yet another royal bombshell.

A specialist’s analysis of Prince Andrew’s situation, which included his older brother, King Charles, and his brother, Prince Andrew, has revealed how he continues to pose an “impossible” problem despite having his royal titles removed.

In a statement issued yesterday (Friday, October 18), Prince Andrew, whose friendship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein has sparekd controversy in recent years, announced that he will no longer be using his titles or honours, stating: “In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.

We now feel like I must proceed one step further with His Majesty’s consent. I’ll no longer use my title or the honors that have been mys. I vehemently refute the accusations I have been accused of making.

The Epstein accuser’s posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, which is scheduled to be published on October 21 is the subject of this sensational announcement just days before.

Now, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond has exclusively told the Mirror that King Charles still faces significant hurdles when it comes to his controversial younger brother.

I’m concerned that the King will let this one go for a while, Jennie said. Perhaps that is enough for the time being because he has made his brother give up his honors and titles.

“He has tried in the past to persuade Andrew to leave Royal Lodge – but to no avail. Andrew has a cast-iron tenancy agreement, and as long as he can abide by the terms of that agreement and pay the costs of upkeep, it’s next to impossible to make him leave. I think the King now intends to let the matter rest, at least for the time being. I think the Royal Family is now on a better footing.

The institution of monarchy was suffocated by the Andrew problem. The Palace can at least claim to have taken what is almost the ultimate sanction: public humiliation once more for Andrew and the forced relinquishment of his titles. There are still court cases going on in the United States about Epstein, and there may be more revelations in Virginia Giuffre’s book.

With this in mind, Jennie has also shared her thoughts on what the future king, Prince William, may be thinking about the action taken against his uncle. She reflected: “I think William has been pushing for tougher action against his uncle for a long time. It must be so dispiriting to be working hard to make the monarchy relatable, modern and a force for good in the world — only for its reputation to be so relentlessly trashed by lurid headlines about Andrew.

“I think William was the one who pushed Andrew’s arm so far behind his back that he finally squealed that he would give up his title, and I think he was heavily involved in the discussions about what should be done. William is determined to change the monarchy, and once his mind is clear, he is entirely focused on achieving his goals. William was determined to clear the way because the “Andrew problem” was putting an unnecessary impediment in the direction of those goals. His voice would have been heard loudly during the King’s and his brother’s discussions.

With the York family now in the spotlight, Judi also considered how Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, will be treated by their royal relatives going forward. She said, “Whatever else you might think about Andrew and Sarah, they are brilliant parents and have brought up two very decent young women. They will remain Princesses and be welcome at events with the rest of the royal family, such as Christmas at Sandringham.

They have, however, maintained a strong commitment to their parents throughout the entire process. They’ll be there for Andrew and Sarah through this most recent crisis, just as they’ve done in the past. They must believe the innocence protests of their fathers. They would have to live with themselves, after all.

64 South Koreans Held In Cambodia Return Home Under Arrest

A police official told AFP that 64 South Koreans who had been detained in Cambodia on suspicion of participating in alleged cyberscam operations returned home on Saturday and were being detained.

On Wednesday, South Korea had sent a team to Cambodia to look into cases of phony jobs and scams committed against dozens of its citizens.

The official stated that a total of 64 people had just boarded a chartered flight to the Incheon International Airport.

Seoul alleged that Cambodian authorities had detained around 60 South Koreans over the alleged crimes and promised to bring them home.

Following a public outcry in South Korea over the alleged involvement of a crime ring in the torture and killing of a Korean college student in Cambodia this year.

Shortly after boarding the chartered flight, the official reported that the passengers had been detained.

The official stated that all 64 of them have been taken into custody as criminal suspects upon arrival at the Incheon airport and will be assigned to police stations with jurisdiction over their respective cases.

Two police officers each led the suspects into the airport’s arrival hall, many of whom had masks and caps, with their arms firmly tucked either way, according to TV footage.

The majority of them appeared to be handcuffed, with cloth strewn across their restraints.

On their arrival at the Incheon International Airport, west of Seoul, on October 18, 2025, police escort repatriated South Koreans who had been detained by Cambodian authorities over alleged cyberscam operations. A police official informed AFP that 64 South Koreans had been detained in Cambodia on October 18 and were currently awaiting arrest. According to Park Sung-joo, head of the National Office of Investigation, the repatriated people are responsible for a number of crimes, including “no-show” fraud schemes, romance scams, voice phishing, and other crimes, according to Park Sung-joo, the airport’s head.

He continued, “everyone who returns will have their drug tested as a standard procedure because there have been suspicions of drug use in Cambodia.”

According to Wi Sung-lac, the national security adviser, the detained people were both “voluntary and involuntary participants” in scam operations.

Kim Jina, the vice foreign minister, thanked Cambodian authorities, adding that Seoul confirmed Phnom Penh’s “continued efforts to crack down on such criminal activity and commitment to close cooperation with our country.”

According to Seoul, about 1, 000 South Koreans are thought to be among the 200, 000 people involved in Cambodian scam operations.

Some “pig butchering” scams, which are cryptocurrency investment schemes that build victims’ trust over time before stealing their money, are forced to carry out under the threat of violence.

According to experts, Cambodia’s multibillion-dollar illicit industry has grown exponentially in recent years as a result of thousands of people engaging in online scams, some willingly, while others were forced by the organized criminal organizations that run the fraud networks.

 Torture And Human Trafficking

According to Amnesty International, abuses occur in Cambodia’s scam centers on a “mass scale.”

According to the rights group, there are at least 53 shady locations in the nation where organized criminal organizations engage in slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, torture, and deprivation.

Since late June, Cambodia’s anti-cybercrime commission has taken 3, 455 online fraud suspects from 20 different Asian and African nations into custody, according to a statement released on Wednesday.

In 10 of the cases involving online fraud, murder, and human trafficking, authorities reportedly sent dozens of suspected “ringleaders and their accomplices” to court, according to the statement.

More than 2,800 foreign nationals were deported from Cambodia, according to the report, and some “victims from trafficking” were “rescued” by authorities.

South Korean police have announced that they will also look into the recent death of a Cambodian college student. This is a shocking development for South Koreans.

The student was reportedly tortured and kidnapped by a crime ring and found dead in a pickup truck on August 8.

According to a Cambodian court statement, his death was caused by “severe torture, with numerous bruises and injuries across his body,” according to an autopsy.

According to Seoul’s foreign ministry, South Korean and Vietnamese authorities are looking into a Korean woman’s death on October 8 close to the Vietnam-Cambodia border.

Christchurch’s first T20

England 153-6 (20 overs): Curran 49* (35), Buttler 29 (25)

New Zealand: Did not bat.

Match was discarded

Before the first game of their winter tour washed out by rain in Christchurch, Sam Curran saved England’s innings.

In the opening T20, Harry Brook’s side battled canny bowling and a difficult pitch to post a 153-6 lead, but the bad weather prevented New Zealand from beginning their chase, which gave them a sluggish start to a low-profile white-ball series.

England named three members of their squad for the Ashes tour’s upcoming match at the Hagley Oval, and the announcement comes just one month before the highly anticipated Ashes tour.

However, Curran, an unnamed player, was the most effective as he hit 49 not out of 35 balls to lift England from 81-5.

The Hagley Oval will host the second T20 on Monday, beginning at 07:15 BST, before Auckland’s third game on Thursday.

Curran makes the most of every opportunity.

It is understandable that this series is not as popular as the Ashes.

However, this was England’s first of six T20s before the T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka kicks off in February.

While Bethell, who struggled in a fine straight six before falling to a top edge for 15, has the opportunity to play against Australia, Curran is one of those who has the most in store for him in the run-up to the World Cup.

The 27-year-old offers a second seam-bowling option in Brook’s favour in the batting-heavy side and was selected for the first time in any format under coach Brendon McCullum last month.

After seeing Bethell, Buttler, Jordan Cox, and Tom Banton chip catches into the air with ease on a surface that nipped for the quick bowlers and held for the spinners, Curran was fortunate to be dropped on 14 by bowler Jacob Duffy and Tim Robinson, who had 26 at deep extra cover. Both chances were straightforward.

In a final over, Curran took seamer Duffy for 19 and continued to bat for the impressive left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner for one six over long-off.

The ball was “doing a little”- reaction

Harry Brook, England’s captain, said, “The pitch did a little bit to start with. The surface was made the most of by Matthew Henry, especially.

We obviously want to change the situation and the surface, but with the depth of our batting we have, we can do it all.

Mitchell Santner, the skipper of New Zealand, said, “The boys started very well with the new ball.” A respectable performance was made.

Lily Allen offers olive branch to ex David Harbour after affair heartache: ‘We all suffer’

After discovering his three-year affair, singer Lily Allen has openly discussed her split from Stranger Things star David Harbour and the effects it had had on her and her children.

Lily Allen has revealed how her painful breakup with Stranger Things star David Harbour has affected her mental health.

Allen and Harbour began dating in 2019 and married in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2020. After four years together, they quietly split in late 2024, with their separation confirmed earlier this year. The 40-year-old singer has since spoken candidly about her split from the actor, 50, and its impact on her and her children.

My kids had an amazing time living in America for five years, and Lily has since expressed her feelings for my ex-husband. We all suffer, in my opinion. Following the discovery that David had a secret profile on the celebrity dating app Raya, Lily revealed she had become suicidal after their four-year union ended in December.

The singer reportedly joined Raya herself after posing as a “looking for women” and discovered that David had already made a profile, which had put her in “agony.” Following the devastating split, the star has since agreed to pay £8, 000 per week for trauma treatment at a report.

Despite her difficulties, Lily also revealed to British Vogue that she “came close to relapsing on drink and drugs and developed a really, really bad problem with food.” She acknowledged that over the past few years, she’s had real issues with her diet. It got really, really bad in the middle of the breakup.

The singer described how overwhelming the despair was after six years of sobriety. I was experiencing “so much desperation.” It was agonizing to sit with those feelings and choose not to use them because I last experienced them when I felt anything like that.

Lily voluntarily entered a residential treatment facility after realizing she needed assistance. I’ve previously entered those areas against my will, and I consider that to be progress. That’s strength, on her self-awareness. I was aware that the emotions I was experiencing were too extreme to handle, and I needed some rest.

Although she has made progress, Lily admitted in March that she is still struggling and that she is still in pain. I’m sort of fleeing. I might experience a nervous breakdown.

She announced that she would be leaving the Brooklyn townhouse she once shared with David after the split. The couple’s elegant New York home, which featured a Parisian-inspired media room and tiger-print furnishings, was recently renovated and featured in Architectural Digest.

Lily purchased an ex-council flat in London, where she plans to raise her two daughters. She told The Mirror that decorating the flat has helped her through a difficult period. “I’m really enjoying those at the moment. I’ve obviously had quite a hard time and that’s really helped me.”

On her, Miss Me? According to the interview, Lily explained why she chose to purchase the new apartment because it is “slap bang” in the neighborhood where she was raised and is being gentrified by the neighborhood.

She continued, “I’ve wanted to live in this building since I was a baby, and it’s been a dream of mine forever, and I finally found a flat there, which I did,” and I did. However, I am aware that others are judging it. In her New York home after the breakup, Lily also openly discussed how “extremely heavy” and lonely life there was. She also earlier this year spoke out about it.

‘Our babies were taken away in cardboard boxes and effectively put into landfill’

Gina Jacobs informed her that her precious stillborn baby boy would receive a proper burial when he was delivered. It was a devastating lie…

Gina Jacobs realized she had been told a terrible lie decades after her precious stillborn baby boy was forever lost in a cardboard box. After being informed that Robert had been buried “with a nice lady” in a nearby cemetery for more than 50 years, Gina has been grieving for her for the past 50 years. The truth of what really happened, which Gina only discovered a couple of years ago, was horrendous – and happened to hundreds of other families.

If you had a stillborn child, you just had to get on with it, says Gina, 81, from Greasby, Merseyside. I never even saw my baby because he was taken away from me. He was put into a cardboard box and we were told that he would be buried with someone who was already being buried that day or the next day. Out of respect for the family, we never thought about it and never inquired as to where he was buried. That family appeared to be fictitious. We just knew he would be in one of the graves in Landican Cemetery in Birkenhead and for decades my late husband Jim and I would walk around the cemetery wondering ‘ Where is Robert? ‘”

Stillborn babies were taken from families before the 1980s, and their families were never informed of what had happened to them or where they were buried. Ever since that devastating day on February 3rd, 1969, when Gina gave birth to Robert, her third child after a daughter Karen and son David, she believed he had been looked after.

Then in 2022 she was watching a local BBC news report, during which a woman named Lilian Thorpe said she found her baby after similar circumstances. Gina credits Lilian for giving her the courage to search public burial records and eventually she found Robert’s exact resting place at Landican Cemetery in Birkenhead. But what Gina discovered was like a gut punch. Instead of being buried in a grave, many stillborn infants were buried in shared or mass graves – often in unconsecrated ground, with no plaque or marker and with the families given no information.

Robert was reunited with 62 more infants before being found. When Gina told local authorities, ‘ That can’t be right, he is with someone buried that day’, she was told, ‘ Oh, they told everybody that’. Gina, who has eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, is now assisting other mothers and fathers in finding their children. She says it has been joyous to be able to say “Your baby has been found” despite the fact that she almost every day hear depressing stories from traumatized parents all over the UK.

They wouldn’t let us see our baby, Gina, who worked in care and youth work. I missed even a glimpse. They stole that memory. No one saw any babies who had been living for a while. I have it in my dreams. We were all told the same thing, that our babies would be buried with a nice family, with their permission and a little blessing. It was all accepted by everyone. We were a generation that didn’t really challenge authority because we were so traumatized.

” They played on how vulnerable we were. Never did anyone give a reason for it. Although the word “” is a relatively new one, it has a lot of weight. The hospital staff didn’t know the truth either, I’ve spoken to midwives – they firmly believed it too. But those who brought that baby to the cemetery that day knew that they were telling us lies. Robert was transported from the hospital morgue to the local cemetery by my now-deceased husband in a cardboard box.

“People were struggling and the majority of these babies travelled on the bus to the cemetery in a dreadful cardboard box tied with string, on their dad’s knee. One man I know had to attach the box to his bicycle’s back. Another person was informed that “Hurry, you can catch the next bus.” And another poor man had rope marks on his hands because he had to carry a heavy full-term baby but he didn’t want to put the box on the ground”.

Gina adds: “Nobody consented to our babies going into what amounted to landfill for babies. That is not our intention. They are all unconsecrated, without any blessing, and the stillbirth register does not even permit a Christian name. We’ve named them unofficially, but when I have asked if they could be named on the register the answer is still no, because there’s no place for a name to be inserted. It’s terrible. A gravedigger has mentioned that Robert’s grave was sometimes left open for 15 months, as per what he’s heard. I’ve heard reports of babies being wrapped in plastic bags and left in dirty sheds until the grave was ready”.

Gina recalls the time of Robert’s birth and how Karen and David, her older children, were eager to bring the child home. When a stillborn child is born, she recalls “the terrible silence.” She says: “I remember Karen was talking to David and she said, ‘ I wish the baby hadn’t died, who’s that other bed for now? ‘ that “cut like a knife”

Gina has since started the Facebook group Gina’s Sleeping Babies Reunited, with help from friend Diana Williams, who got in touch early on and found her own little baby, John. Gina says: “Since discovering where Robert is in the cemetery, I have spoken to other women and it has led to me looking for hundreds of babies. My husband died 15 years ago never knowing where his son was because we were lied to.

” I found Robert because they gave me a map of the graves, it was so hard to find, a grave digger helped me. I was relieved to finally be able to locate him. I’ve now made the entire area nice and straight. If babies are found they can take their rightful place in their families. Unfortunately, not all babies can be found, sadly. We count ourselves fortunate. They have vanished and there are fears they were taken for medical research. “

Gina, who frequently runs for the school, says, “I have a lot of energy for my age, but it can all be very overwhelming.” She still rides her bicycle everywhere and still cares for the great grandchildren. A sibling is trying to find a sibling, or the fathers have passed away quite frequently. I know one woman whose baby has been found but she’s elderly and lives abroad now so she can’t visit the grave. I’ve promised to keep it looking good for her.

When you have to explain a baby’s location to others, it’s heartbreaking. I feel so responsible. I had the unwavering conviction that they could all be found when I embarked on this journey. But there are times when they can’t, which is terrible. However for those families who have now found their babies, they are overjoyed. They are able to pay tribute and travel there.

Gina, who lives with her second husband Arthur, has the backing of MPs in the Wirral and has already received the Wirral Award for supporting bereaved parents and helping them find their born asleep babies and establish new memorials. However, she and other parents want an official apology from the government.

The issue was raised during Prime Minister’s questions, but while then PM Rishi Sunak expressed sympathy, he stopped short of an apology. Wes Streeting, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, has pledged to meet Gina and any others affected – Gina plans to show him letters from dozens of bereaved mothers. On November 4, Gina has organised a church service and blessings at Landican Cemetery, attended by local religious leaders including the Bishop of Chester, where names of the previously forgotten babies will be read out.

A Department of Health and Social Care spokesperson says: “Our sympathies are with all the families affected. This is appalling and should never have been allowed to happen. We expect all hospitals to act with compassion and transparency, providing as much information as possible to any parents seeking to understand what happened to their stillborn babies, no matter how long ago their loss happened.”

Gina asserts, “Robert has not passed away in vain. We are helping people who have been terribly wronged. We simply want some closure.

Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmer’s ex Talia ‘petrified’ as son, three, is back in hospital

A furious update on Oakley Oatway’s three-year-old son has been shared by Talia Oatway, who is the mother of three children with her Geordie Shore star ex-boyfriend Aaron Chalmers.

As their son returns to the hospital, Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers’ ex Talia Oatway has posted a “petrifying” update. The mother-of-three has been regularly communicating with fans about the health of their youngest son.

Apert Syndrome, a genetic condition that causes the fusion of the skull, hands, and feet bones, is present in Son Oakley. Talia regularly updates her fans, and this week she announced Oakley’s return to the hospital.

Talia admitted to not having been on the show today. So Oakley had a gemranosec earlier this morning to have a CT scan of his brain to essentially rule out a lot of the illness.

Um, so he had that and had to wait, obviously, for the neurosurgeons to examine the scans. They did say something about Oakley’s brain that obviously has petrified me, even though I still have no answers.

She continued, “Um, but I’m waiting until the surgeons at Newcastle and Liverpool speak to each other to gain more understanding of the situation Oakley is in.” It’s been a really s*** day, very emotional day, I guess.

Following Talia’s earlier post about Oakley over the summer, which caused concern in fans, Talia released this heartbreaking update. She stated at the time, “Oakley had the worst illness last night, from 11 to 5 am.”

“Bed changes after bed changes, bath after bath.” I have such a bad feeling for him. He needs so much fundo surgery soon (after his hands), that he needs to have. He won’t become infertile forever. currently taking medication for him.

Aaron and Talia welcomed their son Oakley into the world in February 2022. They are also parents to Romeo, four, and Maddox, three.

The couple first fell in love in 2017, but they separated once Oakley was born. Aaron mentioned his struggles following the birth of his son earlier this year.

He said that bare-knuckle boxing saved him from a “slippery slope” of drinking to deal with personal issues. He said: “And then leading into 2024, my son… As I was trying to get myself back on the straight and narrow, my son went into hospital.

He was battling for his life for eight weeks while he was in a coma and Liverpool, and I just didn’t deal with it. I was just drinking, which was my only option when I lost my cousin, and then just drinking a few months later.

“It was August, and I was not moving.” I was unable to move. I was trying to get into the gym before I arrived for the weekend and was drinking. I was experiencing “blewouts”.

When Aaron switched to boxing, he had to stop drinking while training. Since turning to alcohol in his early 20th year, he claims his relationship has improved.
