On Saturday, thousands of people gathered in New York’s Times Square to protest President Donald Trump. In response to the military’s crackdowns in US cities, the deportation of political foes, and the aftermath of the Gaza peace deal, there has been a nationwide event.

Paris Fury has confessed that she thinks her husband Tyson Fury will be crying when he walks their daughter down the aisle.
Their 16-year-old Venezuelan boyfriend, boxer Noah Price, requested his consent before popping the question. Since its announcement, the surprise engagement has become a hot topic.
Now Paris, 35, has opened up about how she thinks Tyson, 37, will react when the big day comes for their daughter. She said, “I think Tyson will get teary and emotional giving Venezuela away. He might be strong, but underneath he is softer than I am.”
Paris declared that he would be balling if he felt the love that day. She is our daughter. However, it’s best not to get too close in the future. We’re hoping Venezuela accepts her engagement.
She continued to The Sun: “Noah asked for Tyson’s permission to propose to her at her 16th birthday shortly before he proposed. I didn’t get involved, but I had an inkling it might happen.
Tyson asked my dad for his consent before we could get married, which we believe is an old fashioned custom. But when it happened, my hands started to tremble and I was sore.
The mother-of-seven said she hopes Venezuela will continue to advance her influence career when she gets married when she unveiled her new product, Eternal Collagen, at the Grosvenor House Suites in London on Thursday.
You can be a wife and have it all, Paris declared. She also stated that Venezuela is only 16 and that she is happy, “so they” support her. I have faith in this for her because I believe it to be the best course of action.
She also made some clarifications about the custom of getting married when you travel. She remarked, “In the traveller, gypsy community, we traditionally get married young, but everyone in England got married young 50 years ago. Venezuela is a self-made woman who has chosen to pursue her goals in life, and I have given her every choice.
She went on to say that she and Tyson cannot “delude” themselves and admitted that relationships can be tough work. During an appearance on This Morning, earlier this week, Paris said: “Venezuela is so mature for her years,” when host Ben explained many would be concerned that Venezuela got engaged at a young age.
I can’t dispute Paris’ claim that she has accomplished so much in such a short amount of time because of who she is and the fact that she has six younger brothers and sisters who she has helped raise.
She is very mature, and I have been working with Venezuela for the past year. Venezuela has engaged in various shoots, interviews, and social media work. She chose this path despite my best efforts to give her in life.
Because I was 17 when I got engaged, I can’t deny her. How can I, in any way, judge her if she is obviously following my example? She is young, I am aware. But I believe she has found the person she loves, and I’m willing to support her in every way.
Of course, Ben and Cat had to ask if Venezuela would be following in her parents’ footsteps with the big wedding, as they recently tied the knot for the third time. However, it doesn’t look like she will be, according to her mother – as she said she “wasn’t keen” on her mother and father’s third wedding.
She must have thought, “This is going to be me, and now my parents are doing it, Oh my god! ” before she got engaged. “
She proposed, and she said she wanted to keep it small. However, she only recently got married. She is not in a rush, but she is enjoying this situation. She’s just enjoying where she’s at right now, I believe.
At the start of the US Grand Prix sprint race, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris were to blame rival drivers for the crash, which occurred between McLaren Formula 1 bosses Zak Brown and Andrea Stella.
After colliding with Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg, Piastri, who was 22 points ahead of Norris, slammed into his teammate.
Both McLaren drivers and Fernando Alonso, both of whom were inside Hulkenberg, were pulled out of the race as a result of the collision.

Andrea Stella, the head of the McLaren F1 team, stated: “We are disappointed that we didn’t have the opportunity to race.”
It’s surprising that some experienced drivers don’t behave with justifiable prudence. “Go to the first corner, ensure you don’t hurt anyone,” you say.
Stella was referring to both Hulkenberg and Alonso, according to McLaren.
However, Damon Hill, the 1996 world champion, claimed that Piastri’s decision to cut back to the inside in an effort to pass Norris was insufficient because he had not shown enough awareness of the risks of the first corner of an F1 race.
The Australian faced a more successful start than the British, who initially faced pressure from the uphill corner.
But he then turned around and struck Hulkenberg in the exit as he attempted to run into Norris.
Not ideal, according to Piastri, but I haven’t seen what transpired. I attempted to cut down on Lando because we were both very far from the apex before being hit, which sent me into Lando. A shame.
Norris remarked, “I just got hit, right? ” Nothing I did was wrong. Further back, there were events that occurred, and I was hit and unlucky as a result. I’m not sure. I need to examine things a little more closely. More people are being a little careless further back, and we are the result.
When asked by Sky Sport Italy whether he anticipated the incident would have had an impact on Piastri, Norris repeatedly said, “Oscar got hit,” adding: “It can’t be his fault.
Alonso once said, “Some cars came very quickly from the outside and switched back, and then I was there in the middle.”
Big frustrations, according to Hulkenberg, who had qualified for a season-best fourth. The bin’s full of all the good work from yesterday. Simply messy.
“Oscar tried her hardest to get the undercut and exit of Turn One, but I just can’t go.”

McLaren’s drivers and McLaren will discuss the incident after the weekend of the race. Before Saturday’s 22:00 BST grand prix qualifying, both cars needed extensive repairs.
Overall disappointed, but we take it all the way. We are now concentrating on the car repairs, which are a lot of work, and then we will start the weekend from there.
“We are in a strong position in terms of competition, so I hope we have the opportunity to compete normally and make the most of our performance.”
The most crucial thing is the point; I don’t want to discuss malintention; I want to speak only prudence. Everyone benefits from a little bit more prudence.
Max Verstappen won the race, closing in on both McLaren drivers in the championship, who is now 55 points adrift of Piastri and 33 adrift of Norris.
We lost eight points with both drivers, but we focus on ourselves, Stella said. Our vehicle has two skilled drivers and two fierce competitors. Just some regular racing, we anticipate.
The remaining 51 foreigners who have been found guilty and sentenced for cyber-terrorism, internet fraud, and other financial crimes in Lagos have been found guilty.  ,
The 192 foreigners who were involved in the crimes are now successful at being repatriated.
The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) collaborated with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to conduct the investigation.
Following a sting operation on December 10, 2024, at Oyin Jolayemi Street in Lagos, 759 suspects were detained after the EFCC learned that one of the biggest syndicates operating in Nigeria was being led by foreigners and engaged in Ponzi schemes.
The Federal High Court in Lagos convicted the 192 foreign nationals under the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2006, after months of investigation and prosecution. After their prison sentences have been served, the court also ordered their deportation.
The deported individuals, who are Chinese, Filipino, Tunisian, Malaysian, Timor-Leste, Pakistani, and Kyrgyz nationals, were flown by various airlines in coordinated batches between mid-August and mid-October 2025.
One of Nigeria’s biggest transnational cybercrime crackdowns in recent years came to an end with the successful deportation of the last batch of convicts, which started on August 15, 2025.
Read more about the EFCC’s immigration repatriation of 51 additional foreigners detained for internet fraud.
Ola Olukoyede, the head of the EFCC, described the deportation as “a strong endorsement of Nigeria’s commitment to rid its cyberspace of transnational criminal networks” in an official statement.
This milestone demonstrates our commitment to safeguarding Nigeria’s digital and financial ecosystems. Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s anti-corruption drive, the EFCC will continue to act quickly on intelligence, prosecute offenders, and recover proceeds from crimes, Olukoyede said.
The Nigerian Immigration Service and the Nigerian Correctional Service worked side-by-side during the exercise, and the EFCC Chairman applauded their seamless cooperation, stating that the inter-agency collaboration allowed for the safe keeping, prosecution, and eventual repatriation of all prisoners.
The first batch of 42 convicts, which included Chinese and Filipino nationals, left Nigeria on August 15, 2025, according to the EFCC’s deportation records, followed by several more flights in the months of August and September.
On October 16, 2025, the final batch of 51 convicts, including 50 Tunisians and 50 Chinese nationals, were repatriated, bringing the total number deported to 192.
The deported convicts were involved in a wide range of cybercrime operations, including identity theft, online romance scams, Ponzi investment schemes, and digital training under the guise of Genting International Co. Limited, the Commission confirmed.

Ryan Thomas only has ‘£1 left’ in business account after ITV show axed(Image: ITV)
Soap star Ryan Thomas ended January 2025 with just £1 left in his business account. This comes after his prime-time ITV show 99 To Beat was axed.
The actor initially found fame as Jason Grimshaw on Coronation Street. His business account, R James Thomas Ltd., is used to hold the funds he earns from various TV and social media work.
The “cash at bank and in hand” amount was £1, according to financial statements filed with Companies House this month for the year ending on January 26, 2025. This is significantly less than the previous year’s final deposit of £41, 361.
Because the company owed money, this may not be the case right now, nor does it indicate that Thomas was in a bad financial position. According to the documents, the amount that unknown debtors owed to them was higher than the amount the business owed to creditors, including their tax bill, and those funds were scheduled to be deposited into the account within the same time frame as Thomas’ obligation to pay out of it.

Equity is the total amount the company owns and owes, less the total amount due to the company. R James Ltd. had total assets of £148,466 when all money owed was taken into account, leaving the business with total equity of £28,725.
According to Companies House, Thomas was also appointed as a director of The Thomas Brothers Entertainment Ltd. in May this year, at the same time the company was incorporated. Both his brothers, Adam Thomas and Scott Thomas, are also directors. All three brothers own 33 out of 99 shares each, nominally valued at £1 a share. The company has yet to provide any financial statements.
At Home With The Thomas Brothers, a podcast that Thomas and his brothers co-host, is available. He and his brother Adam co-hosted 99 To Beat, an ITV game show, earlier this year. 100 players competed in a number of games to win a cash prize of £25, 000, according to the description of the show, which was billed as a physical challenge inspired by Netflix’s Korean drama Squid Game. After a series, it was canceled.
On one of his podcasts, Mancs On The Mic, Adam Thomas revealed his true feelings regarding the show’s cancellation: “When I’m positive about something, it gets cancelled. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, to be honest.
Like I did one series of Extra Camp [I’m a Celebrity’s spin-off show] presenting, but it was canceled. Ryan and 99 To Beat’s next presenting job, which I did later had to be canceled.
An ITV spokesperson gave a lot of praise for the program, but he did not specify why it had been canceled. The biggest entertainment launch of the year, according to them, is 99 To Beat, which will be available on all streaming and streaming platforms.
It aired on ITVX for more than 4 million times, reaching 12.5 million viewers. The Thomas brothers are fantastic hosts, but we won’t, regrettably, be recommissioning at this time.
The Mirror has contacted Ryan Thomas’ team for comment.
Zimbabwe’s ruling ZANU-PF has announced that it will begin a process to extend President Mnangagwa’s two-year rule, which could allow him to hold office until 2030.
Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi and ZANU-PF legal secretary Ziyambi Ziyambi instructed the government to begin drafting legislation to amend the Constitution at the movement’s annual conference in the eastern city of Mutare on Saturday.

After serving two elected terms, Mnangagwa, 83, must resign from office in 2028. According to legal experts, any change would require a constitutional amendment and possibly referendums.
After the motion was passed, delegates erupted in applause, strengthening ZANU-PF’s securitized rule pattern since 1980. Although some insiders warn that a legal challenge would be likely, the party has significant influence in parliament.
Mnangagwa has previously asserted that he has no desire to hold onto power because he is a “constitutionalist.” However, rivals within the party, who are aligned with Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, are openly opposed to an extension, while loyalists have secretly pushed for a prolonged stay since last year’s contentious election.
Thousands of viewers have watched Blessed Geza, a veteran liberation fighter and Chiwenga ally, use YouTube livestreams to condemn the push. In Harare and other cities, heavy police forces have been deploying, so calls for widespread protests have not gotten much traction.
In his closing remarks at the conference, the president made no mention of the extension. Mnangagwa’s request for an extension of the term and the protests have not been addressed by Chiwenga.
Economic crisis in crisis
Following Robert Mugabe’s overthrow, Mnangagwa assumed control of the country in 2017 amid promises of democratic and economic reforms.
Hyperinflation, widespread unemployment, and corruption allegations have caused a severe economic collapse under the leadership of Mnangagwa. ZANU-PF is accused of undermining dissent, weakening the judiciary, and making elections more like a managed ritual than a democratic contest.
Legal opponents have warned that any constitutional amendment attempt will face legal opposition.
In a statement on X, opposition lawyer Tendai Biti said, “We will defend the Constitution against its capture and manipulation to advance a dangerous, unconstitutional anti-people agenda.”
Ten elderly activists were detained in Harare on Friday on suspicion of planning a demonstration demanding Mnangagwa’s resignation. The majority of them were in their 60s and 70s.
They are being held in custody pending a Monday bail hearing after being accused of trying to “incite public violence.” In similar circumstances, authorities detained nearly 100 young people earlier this year.
