MAFS UK viewers puzzled by ‘eye slug’ beauty product that all the stars wear

This de-puffing beauty product, known as the “eye slugs,” appears to be the real star of the show…

Who else will not enjoy this series of Married at First Sight UK? It adds the drama that weeknights have been missing. And while dinner party dramas are undoubtedly the focus of online conversation, a slightly left-field subject emerges that makes viewers’ minds spin.

What beauty item is it that puzzled watchers refer to as “eye slugs” and receives more airtime than some of the more conventional brides and grooms? An under-eye patch is the quick answer. These patches were first spotted on bride Leah at the start of the series, and they’ve since appeared on everyone from Rebecca to Rebecca to Nelly.

MAFS viewers are curious why they suddenly appear out of nowhere, whether or not they are wearing it in the morning or in the evening, or if the item is secretly “sponsoring the show.”

One user on the Holy Church of MAFS Facebook group pens in the comment section of a post dedicated to these under-eye patches: “I’m so happy someone else is talking about this because I was wondering what they are!”

One responds simply with “Eye slugs,” while the third responds with “I had to ask my daughter what they are–are they a sponsor”? !

We can confirm that Leah and Davide use Stella’s gold Under-Eye Masks, which retail for $17.95 for 24 pairs, on Amazon. These tiny gold slugs, which prime the area, reduce puffiness, and plump the appearance of fine lines in 20 minutes, promise to deliver camera-ready under-eyes in 20 minutes.

Explaining further, another Facebook user sheds light on why they’re so visible in this series: “Davide did an Instagram Live saying they get given to them by the production team because their roll calls for the dinner party would start at 6 am.”

Although there are a few other brands of Grace &amp, Stella’s eye patches available, it seems as though MAFS UK brides and grooms prefer using them. There are currently so many available that promise to treat pesky puffiness after long nights, but it would be like finding a needle in a haystack because we could hazard a guess as to which brands the patches are from.

However, we can share that many A-list celebrities use this exact plumping trick before rolling out on the red carpet. For instance, Adriana Lima and Anne Hathaway are referred to as fans of 111 Skin’s Cryo De-Puffing Eye Masks. Although they cost an additional £85 for eight, they are regarded as the most expensive mask on the market.

The Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 37-10 to regain their winning ways with three touchdown passes.

The Indianapolis Colts, the only team with a 6-1 record heading into week eight of the NFL season, were the Chargers’ third defeat in four.

The Vikings suffered their second straight defeat since beating the Cleveland Browns in London, but they came back and won 5-3 with a comfortable win at SoFi Stadium.

On each of their opening two drives, Herbert and Oronde Gadsden II each completed an eight-yard touchdown pass before Kimani Vidal, who had 117 rushing yards, punched his first NFL touchdown from three yards.

After the Chargers quarterback gave up his only interception midway through the third quarter, Herbert then led Ladd McConkey to make it 21-3 at half-time with a 27-yard pass to the corner.

The Vikings made a 24-10 lead early on thanks to Carson Wentz finding Jordan Addison in the back of the end zone, but the hosts added a fourth-quarter touchdown and two field goals to highlight their dominance.

Wentz struggled on his fifth start in place of JJ McCarthy, throwing for 144 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while being sacked five times. The Vikings are now 3-4.

McCarthy has been sidelined for two weeks because of a high ankle sprain, but head coach Kevin O’Connell anticipates the second-year quarterback’s return the following week when the Vikings take on division rival Detroit Lions.

Lithuanian president says Russian jets violated the country’s airspace

Gilgeous-Alexander scores 55 points in Thunder win

In a rematch of the NBA Finals of last year, Oklahoma City won by a career-high 55 points over the Indiana Pacers.

The reigning NBA MVP finished with a 141-136 victory over the reigning champions. He added eight rebounds and five assists.

The league was shook by an FBI investigation into illegal sports betting and a poker ring connected to organized crime just hours after.

The Canadian guard once more proved crucial, surpassing his previous career-best of 54 points to score nine points in the second overtime.

Gilgeous-Alexander praised “this team’s two outstanding qualities.”

It is aware of how to remain present and comprehends that the season’s beginning and end are equally significant.

The Thunder won the first game of the campaign to go into double overtime.

While Indiana suffered another injury blow on Thursday with the loss of guard Andrew Nembhard due to a shoulder injury in the second quarter, they have been without star guard Tyrese Haliburton, who tore his Achilles tendon in June.
