Machine Gun Kelly shares tear-jerking tribute after death of Luke ‘The Dingo’ Trembath

Machine Gun Kelly has paid tribute to his close friend Luke “The Dingo” Trembath who recently died aged 38.

The musician told fans he’d cried more over Luke’s death than he did when his father died. Snowboard legend Luke died last month, with his official sponsor Monster Energy confirming the tragic news. Currently, no cause of his death has been reported. In a statement, Monster said: “Our Dingo.

” Our Monster family is heartbroken today and we honour the legendary Luke ‘ The Dingo ‘ Trembath. His unparalleled passion and energy were infectious, lighting up everything he touched. We’ll forever remember his iconic laugh, his love for racing suits, and his genuine ability to connect with everyone he met. Here’s to you Dingo, you’ll be deeply missed and forever remembered. “

Trembath rose to fame on the TV show ‘ The Adventures of Danny and The Dingo ‘ alongside fellow snowboarder Danny Kass. Now, over a week after his death, Machine Gun Kelly has shared a tear-jerking tribute, admitting he struggled to tell his own daughter, Casie, 16.

” Crazy… I didn’t even cry this hard when my dad died, “the El Diablo singer said on Instagram. He went on to add:” I’ve lost a lot of friends, but I’ve never lost a brother. We’ll never get another Dingo on this planet. A true rockstar without ever needing to make a song, the most loyal, loud, charismatic, funny, and annoying human I’ve ever had the honour of knowing.

“I’ll miss your epic toasts, I’ll miss dapping you up and my hand hurting every time because you had some odd amount of Australian strength goin ‘ on, I’ll miss your bellyflops, I’ll miss watching you walk through the door and lifting the energy of every pivotal event in my adult life, I’ll miss you p***ing me off, but most of all I’ll miss your laugh. You were the glue between all of us”.

MGK added: “Telling my daughter you’re gone was one of my hardest phone calls, because she loved you so much. And I’ll never forget when she was too young to understand your name was Dingo so she called you Ping Pong. I feel like you’re up there with my new child, dressed up in a hilarious costume making them laugh, getting ready to send them down. I couldn’t ask for a more bittersweet birth blessing.

” Life will always be less without you, but legends never die. We’ll all miss you brother. DINGO FOREVER. “Trembath began competing as a snowboarder at the age of nine and turned professional when he was 17. After retiring from the spot, Trembath was an ambassador for Monster Energy.

” The Monster Family is devastated to learn the heartbreaking news of the passing of our dear friend and longtime family member, Luke ‘ The Dingo ‘ Trembath, “they said”. Dingo was larger than life—an irreplaceable force of energy, humor, and kindness who made everyone he met feel special.

“He wasn’t just part of Monster Energy, he was its living, breathing embodiment. From the early days, he was one of our most recognizable faces, a constant presence at X Games, Street League, Supercross, NASCAR, and beyond. Whether on the mic, in front of the camera, or simply in a crowd, he made everything and everyone around him shine”.

“Beyond Monster, Dingo was a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend to countless people around the world. While we take the smallest solace in knowing he is now reunited with his beloved brother Reece, his absence leaves a void that will never be filled. Dingo, nothing will ever be the same without you. We love you”.

Emmerdale GP, 49, looks stunning in bikini amid blackmail horror

Posing for scantily-clad pictures on a subscription only website is Rebecca Sarker’s raciest storyline since joining Emmerdale as village doctor Manpreet Sharma five years ago.

Rather than condemning her character’s lapse of judgement, Rebecca has every sympathy for her plight – understanding only too well how easy it is to be flattered by online compliments from strangers. Manpreet becomes the victim of a shocking blackmail plot, after some of her online followers like her photos and suggest she joins a subscription site.

“They tell her it would be perfect for her and she takes the bait”, Rebecca explains. “She starts disrobing and posts some pictures of herself scantily clad. It’s a little bit of titillation, she feels a bit cheeky, a bit naughty and a bit risqué.

” She’s had her relationship issues. She’s lonely and her confidence is at rock bottom. She keeps getting ‘ likes ‘ and it does wonders for her self-esteem. I might be a little bit guilty of that as well. Sometimes I’m on Instagram and you do get a little bit of a boost if someone likes your posts.

“I was never on Instagram before this job and I thought I would never use it. But I’m not going to lie, there is a certain buzz about it. It’s hard not to feel good when people say nice things. And that’s basically what Manpreet is getting. She’s getting a little confidence boost”.

She laughs: “I’m always posting pictures of myself in bikinis! My children laugh about it and my youngest said to me, ‘ one of the teachers at school is following you. ‘ I joked, ‘ yes, quite right! ‘

” I would never put my family up there, but I don’t mind doing it. I’m not backwards at coming forwards. I’m confident in myself physically and they’re always very tasteful. I’m always on a beach with a beautiful backdrop, so it’s fine. “

At 49, Rebecca also feels strongly that her pictures send out a positive message, particularly to her female followers”. I think what’s good is that the pictures are very natural, so if there are folds of skin then so be it, “she explains.

” I’m flying the flag for women who are a bit more mature. Just because we get to a certain age, it doesn’t mean we wrap up and don’t show ourselves off at all. If you want to and you feel like you can, then go for it.

“I’m quite confident. And people are often very kind and complimentary. They say, ‘ good for you, why not? ‘ or ‘ it’s nice to see someone being natural. ‘”

Sadly, things do not pan out so well for Manpreet, who having gone much further with her posts, finds herself being blackmailed over the shots.

“One of the pictures comes to the surgery in an envelope and it’s Manpreet on a bed in a slightly coy position”, Rebecca explains. “She then gets these sinister text messages saying ‘ we know what you’re doing. We know your dirty secret. Don’t go to the police or everybody will find out what you’ve been doing. ‘

” Just because we get to a certain age, it doesn’t mean we wrap up and don’t show ourselves off at all, “says Rebecca

” A real panic ensues, where she goes, ‘ oh my God, who is doing this? Why are they doing this? I’ve been so foolish. How have I ended up in this position? ‘ It’s really very traumatic for her.

“It started off as something that was so empowering and now somebody’s got this hold over her and she’s absolutely powerless”.

It’s not long before Manpreet starts to fear that her recklessness could end her medical career. Rebecca says: “I know that there have been cases like this with professional people – law and medical students, even doctors.

” It’s that separation issue. Can you separate the professional and the personal? You could argue that you should be able to, but it’s never that black and white. People have standards to uphold and professions they can’t bring into disrepute. So, it’s gone a little bit too far for her. “

Yorkshire-born Rebecca joined Emmerdale in 2018, but the part of the quirky doctor is not her first soap. She played a doctor in two episodes of EastEnders in 2007, but is best-remembered for her role as Nita Desai, part of Coronation Street’s first Asian family in 1999.

Rebecca was only 23 at the time and it was her first-ever TV role”. It was fantastic and I learnt a lot, but I was very young and it was hard to cope with the instant recognition, “she recalls.

” People assume that actors are all extroverts. I wouldn’t say I’m shy and retiring, but I’m not doing it for fame, I do it because I love it. The recognition is a spin off from the job. It’s great, but it’s quite a shock when you’re very young. It’s difficult to cope with. “

Rebecca grew up in Halifax, West Yorkshire, with her father Khaleque, a GP, and her mother Elizabeth, a nurse. Her older brother is a dentist, but Rebecca says there was never any pressure from her parents to go down the medical route herself.

” They knew that was a non-starter, “she smiles”. My strengths lay elsewhere. I studied French and Spanish at university and they were happy for me to just carry on blissfully unaware of what I might do.

“But I did become a doctor in the end when I got the part of Manpreet – my dad’s very pleased about that”!

Although she has enjoyed a career spanning a quarter of a century, she had no aspiration to act and credits her older brother with giving her the push to apply for drama school.

“When I was growing up, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life”, she says. “And when I graduated, I was directionless. It was my brother who suggested I audition for drama schools. I’d done some amateur dramatics, but didn’t think that was something I could do professionally, then he said ‘ just try, what have you got to lose? ‘

” He gave me the push I needed and I’m very grateful. He saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself. “

Still close, she stays with her brother in Halifax when she’s filming Emmerdale – returning at weekends to the Essex home she shares with her husband and their two teenage sons.

When she’s not at work, Rebecca loves to keep fit and regularly goes cycling and to the gym. She was able to show off her sporty side to full effect when she took part in ITV’s The Games in 2022. The realityTV series saw ten celebrities competing in nine Olympic style events, such as weight-lifting, gymnastics and diving.

Rebecca says:” I’m not a huge reality TV person, I don’t necessarily naturally warm to the reality format, so it was quite different and a bit of a shock. For me, it was about learning nine disciplines of sport. I didn’t worry about all the other stuff and the silly narratives that people can spin sometimes. I’m not going to give you a sob story to get people on my side if I haven’t got one. But it was a great experience and I’m really glad that I did it. “

For now, all Rebecca’s attention is on her Emmerdale job. Although she admits that five years in, she’s still catching up on the medical front, despite all the experts in her family.

” My very first scene as Manpreet was doing a Well Man check, “she recalls”. I got the scripts and I was slightly panicky and wanting to make a good impression.

“The script said I had to take someone’s blood pressure, so I said to my parents, ‘ can you let me know how to do that before I start filming? ‘ I was prepped. But, unfortunately I’ve since forgotten it”!

*Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7: 30pm on ITV and ITV X with an hour-long episode on Thursdays

Dragons’ Den tragedies laid bare from sudden deaths to devastating goodbye

As Dragons ‘ Den star Sara Davies announces she is ‘ stepping away ‘ from the BBC show in an emotional statement shared on social media, we take a look at the programme’s tragedies over the 20 years it’s been on our screens.

Over the last two decades, there have been a total of 19 Dragons, but there’s about to be another. Just this week one of many peoples ‘ favourite Dragons – Sara Davies – shocked fans by announcing she’s leaving the show. On her Instagram page, Sara said: “Little update from me….. As this last run of Dragons ‘ comes to an end, I have to say I’ve loved every minute of this series so far, and I’m so proud of the businesses I’ve invested in this year!

” As a lot of you will know, I’ve taken up my position again as CEO of Crafter’s Companion and my business is my big priority this year. And when I commit to a business, I really commit, which is why I find Dragons ‘ Den such a rewarding role. As well as filming an incredible show, being a Dragon requires so much dedication and time behind the scenes as you join the life of each business you invest in.

“It means seeing through your investment and committing to your part in that organisation. It’s so much more than a TV show. That’s why I’ve taken the decision to step away from the Den for now, to focus on my own business, which was my first baby! So I won’t be filming with the team this year for the next series”.

Sara founded her business Crafter’s Companion when she was still a university student. The Dragon designed the envelope-making tool and commissioned a local joiner to make it from MDF. Since then she has received more than 25 business awards, an MBE for her services to the economy and employs more than 190 staff.

The news of Sara’s departure has left fans devastated. One fan wrote: “Oh no!! You are our favourite dragon, we will miss you! Wishing you all the best with Crafter’s Companion”!

Dragons ‘ Den has been entertaining viewers for 20 years and, in that running time, has had its fair share of tragedies. Dragon Hilary Devey died on June 11, 2022 from complications following a severe lung infection at the age of 65. She was an English businesswoman and television personality who left Dragons ‘ Den in 2012 to present the Channel 4 series The Intern.

And just last year (October 1, 2024), contestant Graeme Turner (53) was found dead in a woodland area in Pwllheli, North Wales. He appeared on the show in 2010 to seek investment for his business, which made customizable wallpaper kits for children’s bedrooms. An inquest ruled that Turner died by suicide.

Meanwhile, Robin Windsor – Dragon Deborah Meaden’s partner in Strictly Come Dancing – also died in 2024 at the age of 44. Paying tribute to him, Deborah wrote on Instagram: “I have been thinking of Robin (Bobby) since I heard the devastating news.

” Thinking of his Family, friends, and loved ones who will be aching at the loss. I have also been thinking of what to say. Robin was a good Man. He was kind and incredibly generous, supporting so many charities, helping so many people and giving so much of himself wherever he went.

“He lit up a room with his fun and energy and certainly his sparkle…he was never happier than when he was covered in crystals! He was talented, clever (a great partner for a quiz), and fun.

” He taught my Mother to dance for her 80th Birthday party and they whirled around the dance floor at her party…. he knew how to make people feel good. He was also complex and human and open about the struggles of life after the limelight. I was lucky to have known you, Robin, it’s hard to know you are gone. “

BBC presenter announced as finalist in Miss Universe GB pageant after quitting showbiz

Karishma Patel, the former BBC presenter, is trading in her microphone for a crown as she takes a step into the Miss Universe catwalk, aiming to raise awareness for children in Gaza.

The 29-year-old was announced as a finalist in the Miss Universe GB pageant on International Women’s Day, having previously held the Miss England’s Hertfordshire title in 2021.

“I’m putting down the microphone to pick up a crown, all in service of children in Gaza”, Karishma said. “I’ve thought carefully about how beauty can serve ethical causes, and Miss Universe GB can shine a light on important issues—especially on International Women’s Day. I urge women to be bold, take up space, and champion what matters to them”.

Karishma has long supported education, working with charities to empower children in India, Afghanistan, and Syria. Now, she is raising funds for the Gaza Great Minds Foundation, which provides education to Palestinian children amid the ongoing conflict. As a proud British Indian, Karishma also shared her beauty routine, saying: “I swear by Huda Beauty’s Cheeky Tint Blush Stick, which gives me a dewy glow as I strive for a spot in the Miss Universe 2025 global finals”.

With a master’s degree in English Literature from Cambridge, Karishma quickly climbed the BBC ranks, from researcher to newsreader, and became known for her smooth voice on BBC News Channel and Radio 5 Live.

Her departure from the Beeb in October shocked fans at the time. She said goodbye to the corporation in favour of pastures new. Posting a photo of herself broadcasting on BBC Radio 5 Live, Karishma said: “Goodbye to @BBCNews after 4 and a half years of newsreading, reporting, and producing”.

“I’m off to a non-profit called the Britain Palestine Media Centre, where I’ll be their Senior Social Media Engagement Officer – taking care of all things social media journalism related”, she added at the time. Karishma has now tried her hand at becoming a beauty pageant queen by entering Miss England. “I work in broadcast journalism which allows me to expose injustice where I see it and I do have a very strong humanitarian ethos”, she previously said.

The model added: “For the past two summers I’ve worked with a school in India providing a free education to underprivileged children in order to break the cycle of poverty and provide them with more opportunities. I love to sing opera, Italian arias are my favourite. I play the piano and I like to compose for it and I do a lot of portrait photography because I love the emotion it brings out in people’s faces”.
