Inside Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright’s ‘love bubble’ with baby Palma as intimate details revealed

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright are in a “perfect love bubble” with their new baby daughter as a friend lifted the lid on their new-found bliss.

A friend said her and Mark has “shut up shop and cleared the diary” as they decamped with baby Palma to their Essex mansion.

The baby – named after their Majorcan capital – was born a week ago, and they told only the immediate family circle. A source said: “They wanted to keep the news very private and bask in the glory of a new-born without any distractions without the world knowing. They are in a perfect love bubble with no external noises, and it’s been total and utter bliss”.

A pal said that Michelle had a couple of things in the pipeline but “much further down the line” so she could enjoy being a mum to Palma.

A source added: “It’s such a special time for them both, they are head over heels in love and can’t believe they have created this tiny person. The last week has been utterly wonderful”.

The pair announced the arrival of their daughter with an intimate and tender black and white photo.

Ex-Coronation Street actress Michelle, 37, and former Towie star Mark, 38, were snapped holding hands with tiny Palma Elizabeth. They posted on Instagram: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl” followed by a white heart emoji.

Michelle gave birth last Thursday. Mark’s sister Jess wrote: “Most beautiful addition to our family. I finally have a niece and I am so in love”. The couple, who married in 2015, announced the lifechanging news by sharing a pic of themselves on the beach of a Spanish island with Michelle’s baby bump proudly on display.

In a joint post, they wrote in December: “2025 is going to be a special one for us”.

Men’s Six Nations: Italy v Ireland

Venue: Stadio Olimpico, Rome Date: Saturday, 15 March Kick-off: 14: 15 GMT

Jack Crowley has been recalled at fly-half for Ireland’s final Six Nations match against Italy in Rome, as Sam Prendergast drops to the bench.

Munster’s Crowley played every minute of Ireland’s title-winning campaign in 2024, but Leinster’s Prendergast has started the past six Test matches.

Crowley, 25, returns to the starting XV amid reports linking him with a move to English Premiership side Leicester Tigers when his Munster deal expires this summer.

It is one of six changes made by interim boss Simon Easterby as Ireland aim to bounce back from last week’s crushing defeat by France that ended their Grand Slam hopes.

In the backline, there are also returns for fit-again wingers James Lowe and Mack Hansen, while Garry Ringrose starts at outside centre after missing the France match through suspension.

James Ryan is recalled to the second row, replacing Joe McCarthy, and Jack Conan – who has scored tries in Ireland’s past three games – starts at blind-side flanker.

Having recovered from a calf injury, prop Tadhg Furlong is set to make his first appearance since last year’s series in South Africa after being named on the bench.

Centurions Peter O’Mahony and Conor Murray will make their final Ireland appearances from the bench, but Cian Healy – who is also retiring – is not included.

Ireland will win a third consecutive title if they secure a bonus-point win over Italy and both France and England fail to win.

If Ireland win without a bonus, France and England both have to lose for the trophy to remain in Dublin.

Ireland line-up to face Italy

Ireland: Keenan, Hansen, Ringrose, Henshaw, Lowe, Crowley, Gibson-Park, Porter, Sheehan, Bealham, Ryan, Beirne, Conan, Van der Flier, Doris (capt).

Andrew Porter and Tadhg Beirne, who were criticised by France head coach Fabien Galthie for their part in Antoine Dupont’s season-ending injury, are retained in the Irish pack.

Galthie reported both players to the match’s citing commissioner, but no action has been taken against them, and Porter later dismissed the coach’s claim of foul play.

But lock McCarthy drops to the bench after being yellow-carded for cynically pulling back Thomas Ramos, resulting in the penalty from which France scored their opening try.

Easterby reverts to a five-three split of forwards and backs on the bench after opting for a six-two against France. Gus McCarthy and Jack Boyle join Furlong, McCarthy and O’Mahony as forwards cover, while Bundee Aki is the third backline replacement alongside Murray and Prendergast.

Lowe, a last-minute withdrawal from the France game because of a back spasm, returns on the left wing as Hansen is reinstated on the right after recovering from a quad problem.

Calvin Nash and Jamie Osborne, the starting wings against France, drop out of the squad.

“While there was disappointment with certain aspects of our performance last weekend, we are thankful for the chance to get back on the horse this week.

Danny Jones ‘must do four things’ with wife to save marriage after Maura Higgins ‘kiss’

Danny Jones “needs to prove that his wife is his number one priority, via actions not just words”, a relationship expert has warned.

The McFly singer and Maura Higgins, who met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year, hit the headlines earlier this month when they were filmed appearing to kiss at a Brit Awards after party on March 1.

Since then, his wife Georgia Jones has kept a low profile, while there’s also been no word about the footage from Danny, 39, or Maura, 34.

Earlier this week, the singer and his wife broke cover for the first time since the Brits, appearing to confirm that they are still very much together.

According to a relationship expert however, there are four vital things Danny will now need to do in a bid to win back his wife’s trust.

James Preece, dating coach and relationship expert at HeraHaven.com said: “Ultimately Danny needs to prove that his wife is his number one priority – via actions not just words.

” This means constant communication, reassurance and a willingness to make real change.

“Apologies are one thing, but he needs to show her that he understands what he has done and the severity of it”.

Danny Jones has been urged not to communicate with Maura Higgins

Addressing the latest pictures of the pair seen out together, James went on to say their display is “clearly a public show of solidarity”.

“In reality, no matter how they act, whether laughing and joking or cold and distant, they’re going to be judged”, he added.

James additionally urges Danny to cut all contact with Maura moving forward, adding: “The focus needs to be on making his wife the number one priority”.

The singer and Georgia, who was Miss England in 2007, married in 2014 and share seven-year-old son Cooper together.

Fans got a brief insight into their family life during last year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! series when they surprised him in the jungle.

During an emotional moment at the time, he said: “Honestly this place is an amazing place, even though it’s been challenging. It just makes you realise how much you love people and you put stuff into perspective”.

Days later, he was crowned King of the Jungle, while Maura left in sixth place.

Manchester United Look ‘Lost’ And ‘Scared’, Says Rooney

Wayne Rooney thinks former side Manchester United look “lost” and “scared” on the pitch and that “10 to 15 players need to leave the club”.

Fallen giants United are a lowly 14th in the Premier League, with the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton and Nottingham Forest all above them in English football’s top-flight.

United have won just nine out of 28 league games so far this season and have been knocked out of both domestic cup competitions, with their hopes of winning any silverware this term hanging on Thursday’s Europa League last 16 second-leg tie against Real Sociedad at Old Trafford.

A hoped for upturn in results since Ruben Amorim replaced the sacked Erik ten Hag as manager has so far failed to materialise, with the Portuguese coach presiding over a mere five wins from 17 Premier League fixtures.

United great Rooney, the club’s record goalscorer, was blunt when asked on the Stick to Football podcast if there was any hope of a resurgence with the current squad.

“No, I don’t think so,” he said. “They look lost. I think they look scared and just scared to make a mistake.

“I do think Bruno (Fernandes) is the one who keeps producing, he annoys you at times as well, but he’s the one who keeps producing. But it needs massive changes to the squad. I think 10 to 15 players need to leave the club. ”

“Obviously they can’t do that, but I think there is a mentality there where it’s not going right. This player will pass it on to him, he’ll pass it on to him and no one is taking responsibility. ”

Former Plymouth manager Wayne Rooney

The 39-year-old Rooney, who mentioned United captain Fernandes and teenage fellow midfielder Kobbie Mainoo as players he would keep at United, added: “I think there is just a culture there now where it’s too easy for them to lose games and then you see them coming out (with), ‘on to the next one’ and all this rubbish.

“You’re like ‘just show it on the pitch — show some character and fight on the pitch’.

“It’s bad watching, it hurts. Being from Liverpool but spending so many years at Man United, I want the club to do well. I’ve got my kids in the academy there — and watching it, it hurts. ”

United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe said Monday in a BBC interview that some of the club’s players were “not good enough” and “some probably are overpaid”.

When Amorim was asked about those comments on Wednesday ahead of the Sociedad match, he said: “I think if we are being honest in this moment everybody — me, all the players — are underperforming this season so we can always change that. ”

Guinness Six Nations 2025: France v Scotland

When: Saturday, 15 March 2025 Kick-off: 20: 00 GMT Where: Stade de France, Paris

Gregor Brown and Matt Fagerson replace the benched Jonny Gray and injured Jack Dempsey for Scotland’s final Six Nations match away to France on Saturday (20: 00 GMT).

Brown starts in the second row while Number 8 Fagerson joins prop brother Zander in the starting XV with Dempsey ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Lock Marshall Sykes, back-rower Ben Muncaster and versatile back Jamie Dobie come into the squad as replacements.

‘ Ferocious France brings new dimension to Scottish task ‘

Scotland’s last tango in the Six Nations comes in Paris – a place where they went close but not close enough two years ago. That was an outstanding effort, but what’s required on Saturday is a task of a different dimension. France were okay back then, they’re utterly ferocious now.

Scotland need more dynamism and athleticism in the second row and Gregor Brown, making his first Six Nations start, has a chance of providing it.

Jack Dempsey being out is a blow. Dempsey has the dog needed in such a massive Test and was terrific against Wales. Ben Muncaster is on the bench, which is a reflection of his own capacity to run hard and bring a nasty edge.

Scotland line-up

Scotland: Kinghorn, Graham, Jones, Jordan, Van der Merwe, Russell (co-captain), White, Schoeman, Cherry, Z Fagerson, Brown, Gilchrist, Ritchie, Darge (co-captain), M Fagerson

Mark and Michelle announced the arrival of their daughter

Mark’s ex Lauren Goodger is yet to comment following the little girl’s arrival, but she previously sent a supportive message following Michelle’s pregnancy announcement. After Michelle and Mark announced their pregnancy in a joint post just after Christmas, Mark’s ex-fiancée Lauren told Closer magazine she is “happy” for Mark. After denying reports she was unhappy at the news, she blasted: “I’m not anxious, upset, or planning to leave Essex, and it didn’t ruin my Christmas”!

“I’m so happy he’s going to be a dad, I mean it”, she added. “It doesn’t affect my life whether Mark is having a baby, I’m not obsessed with him, my life will carry on”. And she made it clear the only reason she was speaking out about it was due to “all the s***” directed at her.

Lauren had previously admitted the pair’s separation 12 years ago “broke” her and left her feeling like she was “never going to love anyone else”. The TOWIE stars dated for 11 years and were childhood sweethearts, getting together aged 15.

In 2011 they get engaged on the show, but their engagement only lasted five months and they had a very public breakup that was documented on the reality series. In 2015, Mark went on to marry actress Michelle.

Lauren, who is mum to three-year-old daughter Larose, said she really wants to expand her family and is looking into fostering or adopting in 2025. Speaking to the Mirror in December last year, she said: “I’m still young, I still can have my own baby, but I’m not with anyone and time is going on. I feel like it’s such a beautiful thing to be able to do and I’ve got the space”.

Lauren longs for a sibling for Larose and has put her all into being the best mum she can be since her second daughter Lorena died in July 2022, shortly after she was born. And now she feels it is the right time to have another child.
