Brooklyn Beckham’s wife Nicola Peltz unveils first tattoo with pointed message

After it was reported that Brooklyn and his famous parents were coming to terms with one another, Nicole Peltz revealed her new inking in a selfie.

In the midst of husband Brooklyn’s family dispute, Nicola Peltz has a new tattoo that sends a powerful message to the Beckhams. The actress unveiled the inking on her torso while taking a selfie in the mirror while sporting a blue bikini.

Following reports that Brooklyn is considering striking a truce with his siblings and parents after more than a year of no contact, Nicola’s tattoo, which is written in Yiddish and means “family first,” was unveiled. Behind closed doors, it’s thought that Brooklyn may be on the verge of reconciliation.

According to reports, a source close to the aspiring chef’s family has spoken out saying that while he will “at some point want to reconnect with his parents,” he will “at some point want to reconnect with his parents.”

A source told the Mail on Sunday : “Brooklyn wants to do anything to make Nicola happy, but this is all getting out of control. I can’t imagine a world where Brooklyn wouldn’t want to see his parents again.”

Brooklyn obviously wants to please Nicola, but maybe, just maybe, he’ll want to get back in touch with his parents at some point. Nothing would bring them joy.

Brooklyn has since split up with his entire family because he missed his dad’s birthday party, his daughter’s recent birthday party, and her Parisian fashion show, and has since unfollowed his family on social media.

He avoided spending Christmas with them as a result of that jumble of events that included not inviting them to his vow renewal last year. Brooklyn had never avoided the festive season before this. He instead made the decision to spend it with his wife and shared their time online.

When Cruz, his younger brother, broke the family’s code of silence and made a dramatic comment about Brooklyn excluding his family on social media, this came to an end. In response to rumor that his parents were the ones who unfollowed his brother, he took to his Instagram accounts and wrote: “NOT TRUE. My parents never decided to abandon their son,” my parents said.

Let’s get the facts right, he continued. They both woke up blocked, just like I did. Victoria would occasionally contact her son on social media and like his posts despite not having any contact with him. However, as a result, Brooklyn issued a legal notice to his parents.

Brooklyn’s allegedly warning his parents to only contact him via his lawyers, which reportedly failed to put an end to the feud, on the news. His parents were advised not to use his social media tags in the legal notice.

After Victoria, who is best known for her role in The Spice Girls, liked his cooking video, she responded. However, the desist claimed that this was ruled to be in contravention of the law.

A source told The Sun that “he actually requested that they send them a letter at the end of last summer, asking that any correspondence only be handled by lawyers, and that he wanted to try to make amends privately, not publicly.”

He added that he believed his parents would continue to ignore his wishes and to postpone communication with him. Additionally, it was reported that the conflict has now spread globally.

Brooklyn is said to be close to both his maternal and paternal grandparents, despite not having a relationship with his siblings. He appears to no longer reside in contact with his ancestor’s Ramsay family. Despite being invited, Holly Ramsay skipped the wedding at the end of last year.

Djokovic serves up masterclass in 100th Australian Open win

With a straight-set victory over Pedro Martinez of Spain, Novak Djokovic won the Australian Open for the first time in a serving masterclass.

The world number four, who is competing for a 25th Grand Slam singles title, only managed five points out of 57 on serve in a two-hour display of excellence.

The 38-year-old won 93% of his points behind his first serve while still maintaining a 77% first-serve percentage and produced eight holds to love.

The 10-time champion, who defeated 6-3, 6-2, and 6-2, fittingly sealed the victory with his 14th ace of the night.

On BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra, Mark Woodforde, a 17-time Grand Slam doubles champion, praised Djokovic’s portrayal of him as “supreme” and “exceptional,” but he also provided a more understated assessment of his performance.

“Tonight’s performance was fantastic, and I have nothing to complain about.” Djokovic praised his performance.

“It’s always a challenge to start the tournament off right and send the right message to both you and your opponents who are watching.”

After recording a century of victories in Melbourne, Djokovic was given a video of his 2005 main-draw debut during an interview with Roland Garros and at Wimbledon (102).

Djokovic remarked in understandably jovial tone that he would not be complacent with his professional accomplishments until he “put the racquet aside”and is] sipping some nice cocktail on the beach.

Djokovic, who will face Francesco Maestrelli in the second round, continued, “It’s nice to be a centurion.”

Making history is great motivation. I was even more inspired to play the best tennis in the final five or ten years of my career once I established myself in a position where I could eventually create history.

People who helped me play the long shot with my career, avoid getting burned out too quickly, and take good care of my body and mind were fortunate to come into my life early on.

De Minaur isn’t just adding up the numbers.

Alex de Minaur, the sixth seed, believes he has the potential to be a serious contender for major accolades and become the first Australian to win the men’s singles title at home since Mark Edmondson in 1976.

The 26-year-old, who has advanced to the quarter-finals of each of the four majors, won over Mackenzie McDonald, a loser, with a dominant 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 victory, but he insisted that he has more to prove.

De Minaur said, “I’ve reached the point where I’m not just another number in the draw.” To be one of the contenders, I’m playing to win it. That is the end goal, in essence. Not being happy with [this performance] is important.

Andrey Rublev, the 13th seed, defeated Matteo Arnaldi in straight sets, while Casper Ruud, the 12th seed, who is three-time Grand Slam champion, lost just seven games to defeat Mattia Bellucci.

Filip Misolic and Aleksandar Kovacevic, respectively, defeated Spanish 14th seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and American 19th seed Tommy Paul, respectively.

This winter, her supremely wearable and approachable blend of knitwear, chunky boots, and tailored coats has been dominating fashions, and her most recent outfit is no exception.

Claudia wore a fantastic Fringed Wool Jumper from Cos on sale for less than £135 during Friday 16’s episode. We’re on the lookout for a similar-style fringed knit to wear on repeat this winter, even though a size or two were still in stock at the time of the show.

The Black Frayed Knit Sweater by Mikuta costing £205 (was £410).

This fringe-trimmed version from ASOS is ideal if you want a slightly more understated version that still bears a nod to Claudia’s style. It’s a great affordable choice because it’s a plain black chunky fisherman knit with fringe down the arms.

What can you style with ease and that you can switch up? This ASOS coatigan is the ideal choice for this. It has a button fastening up the front, which makes it wearable open and layering over other pieces, or closed either on its own or over a sharply tailored shirt or top with a statement collar, and is covered from top to bottom with a chunky, playful look.

576-7 (was £800) LouLou de Saison Gabin Fringe Sweater

This is the most expensive item on our list, but it’s also probably our favorite, making a statement in your wardrobe. Senegal Declares Public Holiday After AFCON Win

In honor of Senegal’s victory in the Africa Cup of Nations, Senegal’s president Bassirou Diomaye Faye has authorized Monday to be a paid public holiday throughout the nation.

The Senegalese national football team’s victory in the AFCON 2025 final, which took place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Rabat, followed the team’s victory over Morocco.

The public sector workers were given fully paid salaries by the head of state to allow the country to celebrate the victory.

In a match marred by controversy, protracted stops, and players briefly leaving the pitch, Senegal won the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final in Rabat on Sunday night after leading Morocco 1-0 after extra time.

Also, FINA and CAF Condemn ‘Unacceptable Scenes’ In AFCON Final To Take Proper Action

Late in regulation time, a contentious penalty decision awarded to Morocco following a VAR review caused protests from Senegal players.

Senegal players surrounded the referee, which caused chaos as the penalty was given well into stoppage time, and the game was stopped for a while.

‘Unacceptable Scene ‘

The “unacceptable scenes” that ruined Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final in Rabat have been condemned by FIFA and the Confederation of African Football (CAF). CAF has pledged to take “appropriate action” against those found guilty.

With the score at 0-0, Morocco and Senegal were unable to win the AFCON final until late in the afternoon when referee Jean Jacques Mdala gave Morocco a penalty following a VAR review of a challenge on Brahim Diaz.

Most Senegalese players walked out of the stands in protest, and Moroccan security personnel and some Senegalese fans were involved in altercations.

In a statement released on Monday, CAF expressed regret for some players and officials while skipping to blame either team.

The organization stated that it is reviewing all the available footage and will take the matter to its disciplinary bodies.

The statement from the CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 Final between Morocco and Senegal read, “The Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) condemns the unacceptable behavior of some players and officials in Rabat last night.”

The CAF firmly condemns any improper behavior that occurs during matches, particularly those that targets the refereeing team or the organizers.

Pioneering ref Cox to retire from international rugby

The first female professional rugby union referee in the world will retire from international officiating.

Cox was appointed by the RFU as its central contract in 2016 and has officiated at the last five Women’s Rugby World Cups. She has also served as an assistant referee in 2014 and 2010 and has officiated at the last three.

The 51 international matches that the Exeter official has overseen are the most by a female official, the last of which was New Zealand’s World Cup quarter-final victory over South Africa at Sandy Park last year.

Cox, who has also officiated at the Commonwealth Games, Six Nations, and Women’s World Series V, said, “I feel very privileged to have officiated at the highest level of the global game for over a decade.

Cox is a frequent player in both the men’s and women’s prem and the Premiership Women’s Rugby.

In the 2023 King’s Birthday Honours Loss, she received an MBE for her contributions to rugby union.

Without the amazing team that surrounds me and a group of fantastic colleagues both in England and while traveling around the world, I wouldn’t be where I am today, she said.

“But most of all, I want to thank my friends and family, especially my mother, who has always been my biggest supporter.

Being able to referee a game at the World Cup in Exeter last summer was a real thrill and it was amazing to do it in front of people who have supported me throughout my career but haven’t always been able to travel to the remote locations where I’ve worked.

“I look forward to continuing to referee in our domestic leagues and hopefully inspiring other women to view match officiating as a responsibility for them.”

Cox, who officiated the rugby sevens at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games after five years of service in Rio de Janeiro’s first-ever Women’s Sevens competition, took charge of the final at the Covid-19 delayed games in Tokyo.

According to Rugby Football Union CEO Bill Sweeney, “Sara has been a true pioneer for match officials and an inspiration to so many.”

Her skill, perseverance, and passion for the game have helped her break barriers and pave the way for female officiants from other countries.
