Meghan Markle shows glimpse of Archie and his US accent as Harry heads back to UK

Meghan Markle shared a number of videos on Instagram that show how happy her kids were when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited the UK.

Meghan Markle gave a glimpse of a ‘carefree’ weekend with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as Prince Harry headed back to the UK for his bombshell trial. The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram with a series of stories showing her and the children enjoying a sunny weekend at home in Montecito.

In a video, Meghan and her daughter Lilibet splashed in their pool with Meghan’s mother, Doria, while Lilibet watched her as she watched from her lush green garden. Another image showed Lilibet displaying her shopping list with her items spread out on the worktop in the kitchen. Archie could be seen feeding a rhino at the Living Desert Zoo in Palm Springs in another heartwarming clip, and the six-year-old could be heard saying “what” in an American accent while a zoo worker explained how the creatures can weigh up to 3, 000lbs.

Harry grinned and thanked an onlooker who had wished him good luck as he arrived at the High Court in London this morning to start another legal battle. Meghan’s Instagram update featured the kids.

A trial is scheduled to begin today in the case against the Daily Mail’s publisher due to be held against allegations of unlawful information gathering. He is one of several prominent individuals. Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) is being sued by Sir Elton John, his wife David Furnish, campaigner Baroness Doreen Lawrence, politician Sir Simon Hughes, and actresses Sadie Frost and Liz Hurley.

The Duke of Sussex is said to arrived back in the UK yesterday and is believed to be staying in London until the end of the week. His father, Charles, will at the start of the week be 500 miles away in Scotland performing royal duties, but will return to London to resume his cancer treatment on Tuesday.

The King will hold meetings with both of his rivals in the capital the following week, but royal sources have confirmed that neither side requested a meeting with the other, and that no plans have been made for a visit.

Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales will also be in Scotland next week, traveling to Stirling and Falkirk on Tuesday. There they will be shining a spotlight on unique Scottish heritage traditions and how they are continuing to connect communities and inspire new generations.

Harry, 41, will appear in court on Thursday and then will be expected to show up at his Californian home with his wife Meghan and their two children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four. While there is growing rumors that Meghan, 44, will travel to the UK for the first time since 2022, the Duke won’t be accompanied by the Duchess of Sussex on his trip.

Following the Duke of Sussex’s decision to withdraw his request for taxpayer-funded security when he returns to the UK, the King last saw Harry in person in May of last year.

Zoe Ball breaks down in tears and shares death plea after heartbreaking news

Zoe Ball, a former BBC Radio 2 and Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter, struggled to control her emotions as she reflected on the agony of losing her life.

Zoe Ball has been left in tears after hearing a heartbreaking story perhaps a little too close to home. In the latest episode of her and Jo Whiley’s podcast Dig It, a listener shared the story of her mum’s death just a week after Christmas.

The woman, identified as Di, explained that her 90-year-old mother had requested that she spend last Christmas at home because she was too exhausted to travel and see loved ones.

The listener informed Jo and Zoe that the tiredness was all a sign that her body was starting to fail her.

She left her garden on New Year’s Eve, put her coat on, and went outside to feed the birds.

She said, “Her garden was her pride and joy, she loved everything that came into it, and it was the perfect Christmas and the perfect death.”

While Jo struggled with her emotions while Zoe, 55, was spotted reaching for tissues and wiping away tears while telling the story.

Zoe responded, “Oh Di, what a gorgeous message! ” with a shivering voice as she continued to sob. Everything you simply shared there… Your mother sounds amazing, I believe. “

The presenter then admitted that she had already discussed her own pending death with her family.

“I joke with my kids about having a comedy death,” the former Strictly Come Dancing star shared. “I’m like, ‘Can I have a comedy death?’ So it won’t be sad, like a piano falls on my head and everyone’s like, ‘That’s the way she wanted to go’.”

She continued, “What a beautiful story that she was out feeding the birds, that’s so lovely,” and continued. And Di, those memories are wonderful, don’t you think? “

Zoe continued, “Yes, I’m with you there, totally, I’m with you,” describing how she resonates with grief. We don’t miss our lost romantic partners, either.

“Thank goodness we have them in our lives and appreciate everything they do.” “

Zoe announced the sad death of her mum, Julia Peckham, in April 2024, which led to an extended break from her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

Trump tells Norway PM not bound to ‘think purely of peace’ after Nobel snub

Donald Trump, the president of the United States, expressed his simmering resentment after failing to receive the Nobel Peace Prize by reiterating his position as the country’s prime minister.

Trump stated in a message that was confirmed on Monday that “I no longer feel compelled to think purely of peace” in response to Norwegian leader Jonas Gahr Store’s announcement to not award me the Nobel Peace Prize for stopping 8 Wars PLUS.”

Analysts and observers have questioned Trump’s claim that he ended eight wars, some of which were brief, like the one involving India and Pakistan, and others that have continued to be hot wars today, like Israel’s genocidal war against Gaza and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

A source close to the subject’s communication to the AFP news agency and Store to the Norwegian newspaper VG confirmed the message’s authenticity.

Given that Oslo’s political leadership does not grant the Nobel Peace Prize, nor does the Norwegian government receive the award, it is unclear why Trump directed the message.

Store underlined that in a written response. He said, “I have clearly explained what is well known, including to President Trump, that the prize is given by an independent Nobel Committee.”

Trump has long complained that he regrets not receiving the annual prize.

Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado visited the White House two weeks after US special forces abducted Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, sparking a new ire last week.

Trump, for example, did not permit live cameras inside the meeting because he frequently does when he meets with political figures or leaders in person. However, a photo of him receiving the medal from Machado was released by the White House.

For leading Venezuela’s opposition, the right-winger Machado was awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize.

In the 2024 presidential election, she will face long-time rival Maduro in a decisive victory in the Venezuelan opposition’s presidential primary in 2023.

However, Machado’s nomination was overturned by Venezuela’s Supreme Tribunal of Justice, which upheld the ruling.

The court-backed government claimed that she supported US sanctions, that she had ties to a weapons plot with her party, and that she had contributed to losses for Venezuelan assets like the Colombian chemical company Monomeros, which is based in Colombia.

Machado claimed that she presented Trump with the medal as a “recognition for his exceptional commitment to our freedom” during her trip to Washington.

Trump later confirmed to Twitter that Machado had taken the medal, saying, “She is a wonderful woman who has been through so much. For my efforts, Maria gave me the Nobel Peace Prize.

The Norwegian Nobel Institute once more stressed that once awarded, a peace prize cannot be transferred or shared. Even if the actual medal changes hands, the title of the recipient is relegated to the Nobel Foundation in accordance with Alfred Nobel’s wishes.

Gianni Infantino, the head of the FIFA World Football Association, presented Trump with the inaugural FIFA Peace Prize in December, further confirming his support for the Republican leader and raising eyebrows worldwide with a lavish ceremony.

FIFA’s commitment to political neutrality has long been questioned.

Infantino’s blatant praise of Trump and FIFA’s decision to award a peace prize to the US president sparked a formal complaint about political neutrality and ethics violations days after the football body’s event.

Lauren Price, the reigning welterweight champion of Wales, claims she has rejected a return to the Royal Albert Hall.

With a dominant points victory over Natasha Jonas at the London venue, Price, 31, hasn’t yet fought since earning the WBC and IBF belts.

In the spring, the former Bargoed Olympian will finally make her first defense in the Welsh capital.

At Rodney Parade in Newport, Price told an audience that “I am coming back to Cardiff and fighting at the]Utilita Arena.”

After winning against Jonas, Price had stated that she anticipated to be an undisputed champion by the end of the year.

She was present in Las Vegas as Briton Sandy Ryan won the WBO welterweight title against Mikaela Mayer for the second time.

However, despite rumors that the Boxxer-promoted fighter would return to the ring by August, it appears that she will need a 13-month break between fights.

“It’s been a great week of training, and I’m back sparring.” Price, who has won nine fights since becoming a professional, is ready to get serious and put on a good show for his fans.

“I’ve done everything, and I’m finally ready to move on to training, leaving no stone unturned, so that I’m ready for 4 April.”

The British Boxing Board of Control has posted notice of a fight between Welshman Rhys Edwards and Birmingham’s Gulraj Powar for their vacant featherweight title in Cardiff on Saturday, April 4th, with no official announcement regarding a show at the 7, 500-capacity venue.

Ben Shalom, the founder and CEO of Boxxer, will promote the match.

Being Welsh is a key component of her success, according to Price, who also won gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and played international football for Wales.

She continued, “I want the big fights, I want momentum, and I adore fighting in Wales.”

“I was given the opportunity to fight at Albert Hall again in talks because it’s a fantastic venue,” said the Welsh fighter.
