Beth Mooney recorded a career-best 138 runs on Saturday, making her ODI century record at the time with 57 balls.
Georgia Voll, who had 13 balls left to play, was bowled out with 81 off 68, and Ellyse Perry added 68 off 72 to help the visitors post 412, their joint-highest ODI total.
Smriti Mandhana, the opener for India, overcame Mooney by smashing a century with just 50 deliveries, but Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma’s 125 and half-centuries, which the hosts were dismissed for 369 runs lost by 43 runs, were insufficient.
