Audi aim to be most successful F1 team in history

As they launched their assault on the sport’s highest level, Audi have set their sights on becoming “the most successful team in Formula 1 history.”

Audi has taken over the Sauber team in Switzerland for the first time in its history this year.

The introduction of the new team at a “historic moment” was described by team principal Jonathan Wheatley as “historical moment” at a lavish event in Berlin.

It’s an ambitious project, Wheatley said, “We’re not here to mess around.” We are modest. We are aware of our starting point and destination.

We want to make Audi the greatest Formula 1 team ever. We are beginning that journey today because there are milestones in it.

When we sign up for a racing series, Audi’s CEO Gernot Dollner stated, “We sign up to win, innovate, and advance motorsport.” By 2030, the goal is to compete at the highest level and in championships.

Audi unveiled the car at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya last week despite the fact that it was a prototype rather than a true replica of the Audi design.

The first pre-season test, scheduled for private viewing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya the following week, will feature Audi joining the other teams.

For their newest project, Audi used the phrase “to start something, stop at nothing.”

Binotto said, “We are aware there may be bumpy periods and failures, but to never stop pushing forward, it is the mindset to never stop pushing forward.”

Wheatley continued, “We are going to finish something if we are going to start it,” adding that this was a commitment. We take it seriously and will take every step to ensure that this success.
