Arsenal in advanced contract talks with Gabriel

Gabriel is currently in advanced negotiations with Arsenal to agree a new contract.

The 27-year-old Brazilian international’s contract expires in 2027, but the Gunners have been discussing new terms.

It is believed that the negotiations have gotten closer as a result.

The Gunners’ confidence is greatly improved as a club prepares for a crucial final season, which will likely see the signing of a number of important players.

Under Mikel Arteta, Gabriel has come out as a force of importance, but his season was halted in April because of a hamstring injury that required surgery.

The centre-back is expected to be ready to start the new year’s campaign, though.
