Ariana Grande donned a full face from her R. E. M. beauty line to the red carpet yesterday, which included a £16 lip stain that “stays put for hours.”

Last night’s Critics Choice awards saw plenty of famous faces hitting the red carpet, including Wicked star Ariana Grande. The singer and actress opted for a full face of glam from her very own makeup line, R.E.M. beauty, which was shared on Instagram yesterday so you can get a full rundown of how to copy her ethereal, soft glam look.

The Practically Permanent Lip Stain Marker, which you can purchase right away at Boots for just £16, was one of the items. Although Ariana was wearing a soft-mauve shade called Booked n Busy, the lip stain also comes in pink, red, and a berry shade, as well.

Practically Permanent Lip Stain Marker has a beautiful, versatile formula for adding intensity, or keeping it simple and sheer with a subtle wash of color. The R. E. M. stain has an unusual marker pen-style tip that allows for more liberal application while also serving as a precise liner, unlike other stains that apply like liquid lip.

It has a comfortable formula that, according to claims, stays in place and doesn’t transfer to your lips without making your lips feel dry. It also gives your lips a more natural-looking finish. It’s best to prep and prime your lips first with a lip scrub and lip balm to get a smooth, hydrated canvas before applying, like with all stains.

Depending on your desired look, you can apply Practically Permanent Lip Stain Marker in a number of different ways. For a more traditional appearance, you can use it as a solid base and liner before applying gloss over the top. You can then blend it out with your finger until it dries before it dries, giving it a more “popsicle-stained” appearance.

The KIKO Milano Long Lasting Color Lip Marker, available in eight different colors for just £12, is another lip stain that has a similar marker pen-style applicator. Benefit’s Benetint, meanwhile, has a more hydrating formula that absorbs quickly and is easy to build up. LookFantastic recently reduced it from £22.50 to £18.

However, Wonderskin’s Wonder Blading All-Day Lip Stain, which costs £18 and comes in a ton of incredible £19 shades, is one of the most well-known brands of lip stain. You apply it like a liquid lip, wait for it to set, and then remove it to reveal a stain that stays put for hours.

However, customers have also expressed their awe for Ariana’s Practically Permanent Lip Stain Marker, which read, “Absolutely love this… stays put for hours without bleeding or smudging.”

Another user commented, “I’ve only had this for a few days, but it’s sooooo long lasting and pretty, especially when used as lip liner, it contours your lips.” The combination of scheduled and busy is fantastic.

However, some people reported that their longevity wasn’t as good as others, with one saying, “Not great if/when your lips dry up, doesn’t last a miracle but pretty good otherwise”!

While another chimed in, “I opened this about two weeks ago, it has already dried up, and I’ve used it once.” When it was red when it was first used, it also turned dark purple. Money wastage

However, others had a lot of fun, with one saying, “I love it because it gives me the most natural-looking pink lip, super easy to use, and looks so good, I love it because I got Miss Berry, I want to try popular.”

And another user added, “My favorite! It’s the best lip stain, and I’ll always buy it again.
