Ariana Grande was grabbed in shocking scenes as she walked the red carpet for the premiere of Wicked: For Good in Singapore.

The 32-year-old was greeting fans from the yellow carpet event – in a nod to Oz – when a man suddenly ran towards her and put his arm around her shoulders. This prompted her co-star Cynthia Erivo, 38, to leap into action and push the man away from a clearly bewildered Ariana.

In the clip Cynthia, who plays Elphaba to Ariana’s Glinda in the second part of the hit movie which is released in UK cinemas on November 21, is heard shouting: “Get off!” before putting a protective arm around her colleague.

Fans are then heard shouting: “Ariana, are you ok? Are you fine?” Clearly shaken up, she is comforted by her co-stars before nodding her head and continuing to walk on the red carpet with Cynthia tightly clutching her hand.

Footage of the incident has since been shared multiple times on social media. One person wrote: “The guy does this often and thinks it’s funny.”

“Is someone hiring him? How is he able to get soooo close to celebrities?” another asked, as a third posted: “This is so disturbing.”

The man has been revealed to be self-proclaimed ‘Troll most hated’ social media user Pjyama Man. Posting the clip online to his 9,000 followers, he wrote: “@arianagrande @wickedmovie Dear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You.”

In his bio, he also wrote the words ‘Ariana Grande is the Queen.’ From a look at his Instagram account, he has recently pulled similar stunts with a shocked Katy Perry who kept her cool but pulled away from him as he suddenly joined her on stage during a gig in Sydney in June.

He wrote in the caption: “Dear Katy Perry thanks for letting me Dance on Stage. You made my Childhood Memory since 2008. I Dreamed about meeting you!! And now it has happened.”

Fans were quick to comment underneath expressing their horror at the prank, with one writing: “I’m sorry… you thought it was a good idea to post this?” Another warned: “Stay from my queen!”

A third chimed in: “It does not look like she invited u on stage, why do u think ur entitled to storming the stage and violating her personal space like that? What part of this seemed like a good idea?”

“She didn’t LET you. Stop traumatising artists. You did this at the weeknd and other concerts too. Not ok. You’re not famous,” said a fourth.

In another clip, the self-titled ‘Pyjama Man’ had to be escorted off stage when he stormed a Weeknd gig in Melbourne in August. “He didn’t want u there bro,” one fan fumed.

“Why is this dude still not locked up even with what happened to ari earlier????!” another questioned, as a third posted: “Assaulting celebs for just 200 likes is crazy work i think it’s time to fill that job application.”
