After the clubs agreed to a 25 million euro (£21.65 million) deal for the Brazil winger, Antony’s move from Manchester United to Real Betis was revived.
United initially believed they had reached a sale agreement with Real Betis, but Betis later announced in a statement that they were retracing their offer.
Antony, 25, requested payment of a portion of his United contract, which led to the breakdown of the agreement.
Over the weekend, discussions continued to try to break the impasse, with Antony now receiving a medical clearance from United sources.
United sources said the deal is 22m euros (£19.06m) with 3m euros of add-ons (£2.59m).
The agreement includes a 50% net sell-on clause and no payment to the player.
When Antony left Ajax in 2022, he cost United £81.33 million.
He recorded five goals and three assists in 62 Premier League appearances.
In 26 league and cup appearances, Antony scored nine goals for Betis on loan in January.
On Monday, his permanent relocation to Spain is anticipated to be confirmed.
Kobbie Mainoo is anticipated to remain at United in the interim.
After seeing his limited appearances, the England midfielder, 20, wants to go on a loan.
