Anthony Joshua, Family, Well-Wishers Gather For Ghami, Latif’s Funeral Prayer At London Mosque

On Sunday in London, the Janaza (funeral prayer) for Anthony Joshua’s close friends is scheduled to be held.

Last Monday, a tragic road accident in Nigeria claimed the lives of Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele. Anthony Joshua also perished in the collision, but he only suffered minor wounds.

A funeral for Ghami is scheduled to take place at Hendon Cemetery and Crematorium from noon, with several people gathered at the London Central Mosque for the Janaza (funeral) prayer.

Around 3 o’clock in North West London’s Cavendish Banqueting Hall is scheduled to hold a wake for the pair. Joseph was a child born in Watford, but he spent a lot of his youth in North London and Hertfordshire.

Joshua, 36, was a passenger in a stationary truck and Lexus SUV. In the fatal accident, Joseph was only slightly hurt. On January 1st, the former world heavyweight champion was discharged from the hospital.

Anthony Joshua’s return to the UK after the fatal crash is also worth reading.

Prior to the funeral services, both men’s bodies had previously been moved to the United Kingdom where they were later repatriated.

Joshua’s inner circle included Ghami and Ayodele, who played significant roles in both his preparation and professional journey. What was supposed to be a boxer’s happy period has been cast a dim light by their deaths.

After defeating Jake Paul in Miami on December 19, Joshua, 36, who was born in Watford to Nigerian parents, had traveled to Nigeria for a vacation.

Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, the driver of the car involved in the collision, has been charged by the Ogun State Police Command with causing death by dangerous driving and driving without a license.

The case has been postponed until January 20.
