Ant Middleton’s furious rant at UK military leaders has reportedly led to the Ministry of Defence taking rare legal action against the former SAS: Who Dares Wins star
Ant Middleton has taken to social media to launch a furious rant at the military top brass who are suing him for allegedly spilling special forces secrets.
The Ministry of Defence are said to be taking legal action against the former soldier and SAS: Who Dares Wins star for breach of contract. This is understood to be a rare course of action and relates to a series of social media posts Middleton uploaded about his time in the Special Forces.
In a message posted to X, Middleton wrote: “An organisation so secretive that can’t keep a secret! I smell cow s***. It’s been compromised for a while now. Sad but true! I’ll sort this s*** out soon enough!”

A source told The Sun that none of this is connected to his time as chief instructor on SAS: Who Dares Wins. Military chiefs have lodged papers at the High Court, in a case listed as Ministry of Defence vs Middleton and filed under ‘Contract – Part 7 Claim – Breach of Contract’.
“Special Forced contracts were changed some years ago to include a non-disclosure clause,” the source said. “This is an extremely rare move for the MoD to take.
“The action doesn’t relate to his TV appearances or books or work as an honorary cadet Captain. It is focused on a series of social media posts about the Special Forces.”
The MoD introduced a confidentiality agreement to their contracts in 1996, after two former soldiers, Andy McNab and Chris Ryan, released books that detailed a mission behind enemy lines that went wrong in Iraq.
The confidentiality agreement was designed to prevent the publication of any more accounts of undercover missions without the permission of senior officers.
A lot of Middleton’s social media posts are political. He has been clear about his intention to become the next mayor of London. He wrote on social media last week: “I will not rest until I am in a position of power/influence to implement drastic safety and security measures to ensure that our children can thrive free from dangerous groups and individuals. I will make Great Britain safe again! I’m working on solutions as we speak…”
In another he wrote: “I will prioritise Christian culture and identity above any other culture. Christianity must be predominant and celebrated over anything else in the whole country. It must take centre pride.
“Fit into our umbrella, and you will see that these boundaries are fair and they have worked for the last 1,000 to 2,000 years! The reason it’s not working right now is because the British cultural umbrella is close to collapse!”
The Mirror contacted his reps for comment.
