Much-loved hosts Ant and Dec stripped down to their boxers to announce a ‘very exciting’ new venture to their fans.

The Britain’s Got Talent presenters, also known as Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, are currently taking a break from the small screen. Having concluded the 18th series of the talent show, won by magician Harry Moulding, the pair won’t be gracing our screens again until I’m A Celeb returns in the winter.

On Friday (July 18), Ant and Dec unveiled their most recent business venture, despite the majority of people taking this break to unwind and avoid the office. The Newcastle men have shared the exciting news with the company that is currently supporting a small business in the North of England.

The duo are set to become co-owners of frozen food company The Northern Dough Co. Approaching the firm to propose a partnership with founders Amy and Chris Cheadle, Ant and Dec are stepping into the competitive world of food, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The Northern Dough Co provides a variety of top-quality, frozen bakery items such as pizza dough and brioche dough, and is already available in major supermarkets across the UK.

The Geordie duo, who never shy away from surprising the populace, filmed a cheeky video in their boxer shorts to demonstrate how The Northern Dough Co offers restaurant-quality food at fair prices.

The video serves as an example of how to prepare meals without dressing up. When Amy and Chris started talking about working with them, Ant explained that he enjoys making pizzas at home with his family.

We immediately became clear that we shared the same values, and we now have some fantastic ideas for expanding the company. We are very excited about starting our new role as co-owners, and we are eager to do so!

We adore The Northern Dough Co philosophy of bringing people together and celebrating the joy of eating at home, according to Dec. Everyone can get cozy and prepare delicious pizzas, whether it’s a pizza party with friends or a Saturday night in front of the TV with your grandmother. Through our partnership and social media, we are eager to celebrate everything that is dough.

Amy and Chris opened up about how the partnership began, explaining that Ant and Dec’s team occasionally drop you a line asking if we’d like to work together.
