Fans went into meltdown after the presenting duo suggested a major star might be scheduled to return to I’m A Celebrity despite having been rejected by the audience.
Ant and Dec have sent fans into a frenzy after hinting that an I’m A Celeb star could be returning. And the news is all thanks to a single fan request on X, formerly known as Twitter.
When a viewer tagged the presenting duo in a post encouraging them to “bring Ruby back,” the pair were engaged in a light-hearted Q&A on the platform. Fans assumed it was a reference to a well-known former contestant whose appearance had quickly become a fan favorite even though the fan didn’t specify what series they meant.
By responding with the simple but important question, “Shall we just do it?,” Ant and Dec stunned users without brushing off the suggestion. Fans speculating endlessly about what the comment might mean after the exchange had received thousands of likes in just a few minutes. Some claimed that the presenters were making fun of themselves, while others claimed that the pair wouldn’t have started discussions about a potential Ruby Wax return while doing so.
One fan wrote, “She was the best in there… disappointed she’s gone,” while another added, “Yes you blomin’ should”! A third said: “PLEASE!!! She was the best campmate this year, and you can’t wait to watch a new segment where you bring her back.
The presenters are known for engaging in humorous online interactions with fans, but neither Ant nor Dec provided further clarification. Many people were unsure whether the duo were making any kind of comeback because of the message’s boldness.
This comes after a candid chat with the Mirror, the 72-year-old was speaking after becoming the fifth person to leave the camp, which she said left her “devastated”. She said how it felt like she’d been “torn from my family” as she walked the bridge to be reunited with husband Ed.
But she was later left shocked after learning the true number of milk bottles that Kelly Brook, Aitch and Ginge ate. And more generally, she was deeply unimpressed by those breaking the rules with contraband.
Shona’s popularity reportedly came from keeping the butter to herself, which put her on the list. “That’s selfish…. She claims that Sharon was an insecure, anxious person who has since come out of herself, which gives her a sense of entitlement. She initially appeared timid and reserved, but now you can see that.
Ruby said she knew “nothing” about the smuggled contraband, including Alex Scott bringing in salt. “It took me by surprise. And Alex… she’s so refined, she brought it in, but none of them shared it,” she says. “People are greedy and hard.” Instead, she was proud that she “obeyed the rules” unlike others, which also included Shona bringing in an air-freshener for the dunny.
She continued, “Where did they get the nerve?” because we are all in danger. Why is deodorant, exactly? What do you know? Someone is interested in what their body smells like because we don’t have any food. It’s a s***hole. It has s*** in it, and it’s a hole. What makes the deodorizer important to you?
Ruby claims she never saw it or that she would have “ripped it out of her hand.” Of all things, she continued, “But nothing more than a cleaning tablet is necessary.” For two weeks, we wore these things. I mean, I still feel itchy. Never washed out the underwear. Sorry to share. There were only a few times that mine were flipped over.
Ruby acknowledges that the food she ate was the most difficult to endure because of how much it cost. She claims, “I was starving. … It was always revolting. a chicken with black web feet on it.
“A crocodile with the fingernails or an eel with teeth.” And that was believed to be edible. Jack would always say, “It’s like chicken,” and he never looked back. “It never was chicken like.” It was obscene. But being the camp leader was the one thing she adored, not least because it required putting her feet in the air.
