With the controversial rapper Slowthai, Anne-Marie, the singer has given birth to her second child. The couple welcomed their son, who was born in February 2024, just over a year after their daughter, Seven.
Since 2022, Anne-Marie, 34, and 30-year-old Slowthai, whose real name is Tyron Kaymone Frampton, have been married and have regularly updated fans about their pregnancy. Anne-Marie shared the happy news about her new addition on Instagram today.
She shared a number of photos on her page, including adorable shots of her newborn baby, her in labor, and three red heart emojis, before adding “hello everyone,” and adding three sunshine emojis to the end.
On Capital Breakfast, she had previously revealed the gender of their new child. In April, Anne-Marie was questioned about her knowledge of what she was having as she sat down with Jordan North, Chris Stark, and Sian Welby.
Sian yelled, “Can you tell us?” Then, Anne-Marie responded, “Yeah, it’s a boy!” That is “so exciting”! Chris said, “then I’m done” as Anne-Marie admitted she had one of each.
She even received a sweet onesie that read, “Mummy, I only listen to Capital Breakfast.” She also made fun of how difficult it was to choose their child’s name. What makes choosing a name for your children or your albums more difficult, asked Sian?
We can’t just call him Barry because of how unique Seven is, Anne-Marie said. Before the suggestion was bleeped out, I’m not even sure if it will be the name because it’s so odd but we’ve got the name ***.
The singer also revealed that she had gestational diabetes while pregnant, telling the hosts she had to give up being a vegetarian because of her intense pregnancy.
Anne-Marie stated earlier about her pregnancy’s “hardest year.” The Friends singer’s reflection on 2024 as she reflected on the turbulent past year in an Instagram post from December last year.
The most beautiful and difficult year of our lives, she wrote in 2024. God is really trying to understand my strength, haha. You all are special to me, and I love you all the more than you will ever be. You’re probably going to be sick of me because I have so much to offer you in the new year.
