Amanda Anisimova won the China Open and won her second WTA 1000 title, continuing her breakout year against Linda Noskova.
Anisimova, who finished second at Wimbledon and the US Open, won the match 6-0, 2-6, 6-2 over the Czech, whom she also defeated in the All England Club final.
Noskova, who was playing in her first WTA 1, 000 showpiece, was only awarded 12 points in the 23-minute opening set, which included losing a set without a game.
In the first set of her second set, Noskova broke her American opponent with a more aggressive approach.
In the following game, the world number 27 consolidated her break by recovering from back-to-back double faults and taking the second set to level the match.
After only four errors in the first set, Anisimova improved in the decider and overcame Noskova in the sixth game before claiming victory.
