Angelina Jolie’s “drama” with Brad Pitt reportedly aims to give herself and her children “more privacy” so she can live in Europe.

Angelina Jolie is reportedly planning to leave the US to live in Europe amid her “drama” with Brad Pitt. The Hollywood actress, 50, married her Mr and Mrs Smith co-star Brad, 62, in 2014 after more than a decade ago but they decided to divorce just five years later in 2019.

Both A-Listers have been involved in a lengthy dispute after Pitt accused Jolie of breaching their prior agreement regarding their French winery, Chateau Miraval. The winery was bought by the couple in happier times back in 2011 for roughly $60 million. Following their divorce proceedings, initiated by Jolie in 2019, she is thought to be considering selling the property, but the former power couple are said to have made a pact to never sell their shares without the other person’s consent.

Now, it’s thought that Jolie, who has six children with her ex-husband, is set to swap Los Angeles for Europe whilst also splitting her time between there and New York, alll in an a bid for “more privacy,” her long-time friend and actor Jae Benjamin, has claimed.

He stated on PageSix that “She can’t get far enough away from the drama… She needs to leave.” She’ll retreat and unwind, focusing solely on matters that appeal to her heart, soul, and passion. She is a wonderful, gifted, and generous woman.

The only way to take a break is to leave, Benjamin said, “Being through what she’s been through with Brad, having their entire life being in the limelight and all the years of it.” It’s challenging to find yourself in a town where you can’t even look in their eyes.

The Mirror has contacted representatives for Jolie and Pitt for comment.

Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 20, and Knox and Vivienne, both 17, are parents of the couple. The actress, who won an Academy Award, previously disclosed that she would leave the United States once her youngest children, who will turn 18 this July, would be. She claimed she had moved to LA so that her children could be “closer” to their father and that she is here because she has to be there from a divorce.

In 2005, the former couple first met as Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-stars. Jennifer Aniston and Pitt were both engaged at the time. Pitt and Jolie split in 2014 after their split from Friends, but they split just two years later, in 2016. 2019 will bring their divorce to an end. It was claimed that Pitt was suing his ex-wife for $35 million and was pushing for the release of undisclosed communications between the two at the end of last year.

The couple purchased the winery in happier circumstances in 2011 for about $60 million. Jolie started the divorce proceedings in 2019, and she is thought to be considering selling the property, but the former power couple are said to have made a pact to never sell their shares without the other person’s consent. Pitt’s most recent legal battle with his ex-wife came in December.

The mother-of-six was required to hand over a number of previously kept private messages related to the case, according to a ruling in a court in Los Angeles. The messages are a part of the ongoing dispute over Pitt’s claim that the sale of Jolie’s stake in Miraval was made without his knowledge.

Pitt claims that they had a deal that forbade either party from selling their stock without the other’s consent.

The Tomb Raider star has always denied that there was a deal, and he has previously argued against Pitt, accusing him of acting harshly and trying to hurt her financially.

However, in court documents seen by People, a judge agreed with the Bullet Train star’s legal team that certain communications should be disclosed in full. Now, the actress has been ordered to provide un-redacted versions of messages exchanged between non-lawyers that were previously withheld. She has been given 45 days to comply with the ruling.

The messages, according to Brad’s legal team, could allegedly challenge her account of what she intended to do when she sold her stake in the business to a group connected to the Stoli Group. Angelina’s attorney said in a statement that Brad and Angelina were “exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”

Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt more than eight years ago, according to attorney James Simon, who spoke to the Associated Press. She and her children left all of the property they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since then, she has been trying to bring their family peace and healing.

“This is only one component of a long-lasting process that began eight years ago.”
