The reality star is said to be “gutted” over the last-minute changes that prevent cameras from following their wedding vows, so Amy Childs and Billy Delbosq have “called off” their wedding.
Amy Childs has dramatically called off her wedding to fiancé Billy Delbosq after a number of setbacks left her feeling “overwhelmed” and under intense pressure, according to reports.
The TOWIE star, 34, had been planning a lavish big day for later this year – with cameras set to follow the build-up for a new show – but those plans have now reportedly been scrapped. “Amy’s gutted,” a source told Closer.
“Everything was heading towards a September wedding, but real life got in the way – it’s all been too much.” Amy and Billy, 42, who share two-year-old twins Amelia and Billy, got engaged in April 2023 in a sweet family moment that saw Billy dress their newborns in matching suits, reading “Mummy, will you marry my Daddy?”

The couple, who got married while lockdown, had even begun shopping for clothes and talking about places to go. However, the wedding has recently been thrown into chaos and is now officially “canceled.”
Amy had a “wedding body” in February, and she claimed to be looking into a September or October date. But by April, she had already acknowledged that the pressure was weighing on: “I still don’t know if it will be this year… ” I’m overwhelmed, I feel”!
She said, “We talk about it nonstop for one week, and then we don’t even mention it once more.” The couple was shocked when Amy and Billy’s £1.7 million home in Essex was targeted in an attempted break-in earlier this month, which made things worse.
Days later, Amy’s mum, Julie, suffered a heart attack and needed emergency surgery – something Amy said “tipped our world upside down.” In April she took to Instagram and said her mother, 59, collapsed from the health scare leaving her terrified.
At the time, Amy made the revelation that Julie was “doing okay” but in need of rest and was awaiting a stent placement in the hospital. Amy has decided it’s just not the right time, the source continued. “With everything that’s gone on, including the break-in, her mother almost passing away, she’s decided it’s not the right time.”
She and Billy are still together, but their wedding was postponed. Everything has just grown too sluggish.” Amy confessed to questioning her relationship in 2023 after revealing that Billy still wanted to marry her.
“Since he proposed, he hasn’t mentioned it once,” she told The Sun. “I actually asked him the other day if he still wanted to marry me!”
She later admitted that she had no intention of getting married. I’m not sure I could even make plans at this time. Nothing can be proved by the fact that we don’t need to marry.
Amy also has two daughters, Ritchie and Polly, eight, from her ex, who is also named, and Ritchie, five, from her ex-boyfriend.
