The Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet’s price has dropped to its lowest level since Black Friday, making now a great time to purchase the online retailer’s “most powerful” tablet.

Amazon’s ‘most powerful’ tablet has been slashed to almost half price, marking the lowest cost since Black Friday. The Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet, originally priced at £259.99, is now available for £139.99.

According to price tracker camelcamelcamel, this saves £120 or 46% for the 64GB model, making it the lowest price since Amazon’s Black Friday sale in November of last year. The deal only applies to the ad-free model, whereas the ‘with ads’ version is slightly less expensive, priced at £129.99.

The price reduction comes as Amazon prepares for its most recent Prime Big Deal Days event, which will see prices cut on thousands of items from October 7 to October 8 exclusively for Prime members. The retail giant has made it clear that customers will require a Prime membership to use these promotions.

For those considering the Fire Max 11, the tablet boasts an 11″ screen with 2.4 million pixels, ensuring a high-quality display for streaming, gaming, or simply browsing the web. It features an aluminium body that Amazon describes as ‘as thin as a pencil’, yet claims it’s ‘three times as durable’ as the 10th-generation iPad.

The base model offers 64GB of internal storage for plenty of apps, music and photos, but shoppers can upgrade to the 128GB ad-free model for £179.99. Each version also includes 8MP front and rear cameras, perfect for clear video calls and 1080p HD videos. The device can operate for up to 14 hours based on how it’s used, and boasts security features including a fingerprint scanner.

At Argos, you can purchase the same Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet for a similar bargain of £129.99.

When you spread the costs, Sky Mobile will flogged the 2025 iPad for £10.50 when bargain-hunters are interested in Apple tablets without spending any money.

Android enthusiasts might prefer the recently released Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite or Samsung Galaxy Tab S11, both of which come with a complimentary Slim Book Cover Keyboard and cost between £9 and £25, respectively. According to Wales Online, the Fire Max 11 has charmed Amazon customers, receiving a 4.5 star rating from nearly 2,800 reviews.

One delighted customer exclaimed, “The screen is something else, looks amazing, and I really like the wide aspect ratio.” Roblox and Minecraft are easier to install and perform than the iPad. Additionally, I installed Amazon Kids and parental controls, both of which have significantly improved over the previous generation. The tablet also runs quickly. I must admit that I think I’ll buy one for myself because I’ve been so impressed.

Another raved, “This is the best one yet.” The build quality has greatly improved, making it feel more premium than a Samsung or iPad. The speakers are loud, clear, and sound fantastic, and the speed has increased significantly. The power button now has a fast, flawless fingerprint scanner integrated into it. This is unquestionably the best Amazon Fire tablet, and it is a more serious tablet for those looking for a premium device that will perform well.

One customer had a few minor gripes about the product’s three-star review, saying it was delivered but had no wireless charging. Additionally, there isn’t a headphone jack, which leaves me a little disappointed.
