Eight acts will compete for a spot in the Britain’s Got Talent semi-final tonight, but Amanda Holden had everyone’s attention as she emerged in a provocative outfit.
Britain’s Got Talent fans were left in awe as Amanda Holden stunned viewers just moments into the first live show of the series with her daring outfit.
Tonight, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli will watch and critique the first eight semi-finalists, fighting for a spot in the all important live final. The acts taking to the stage include Golden Buzzer acts Linda Mudzenda, The Blackouts and Vinnie McKee as well as controversial performer Auzzy Blood.
All eyes were on Amanda and her glitzy silver mini dress as the show began, though. The 54-year-old stunned as she danced to her panel seat while wearing a high-neck mini dress. All the attention was on the show-stopping gown, so Amanda styled her hair in a high pony.
Viewers took to social media in droves to express their opinions of the actress’s outfit, captioned “Stunning in sparkle” and “Perfect princess” by another user. “Looking incredible,” another person wrote.
The judge learned unexpected things about the first Golden Buzzer of the semi-finals from Ant and Dec right before the first live performances. She will be the only judge with the authority to advance one act past tonight’s semi-final.
Amanda has worn a number of stunning outfits in the past and isn’t afraid to experiment with her fashion during live shows.
In July 2017, Amanda rocked a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress that became the most complained about TV moment of the year.
Amanda jokingly described the subsequent ordeal as “I had bits of fish wire trying to hold that together.” Everyone seems to be talking about it, but it’s all quite laughable. Although it’s been referred to as another national crisis, “I won’t be covered up,” no such thing.
The TV regulator decided not to look into the star after receiving 663 Ofcom complaints that some found it inappropriate for a family show.
Ofcom claimed the estimated £11,000 dress “had the potential to offend some viewers during what is a family show,” but it “would not have exceeded most viewers’ expectations.”
